My husband and I like to get out town during full moons, and Vlad’s spot was the perfect place! No city lights, just peace and quiet in the canyon. The only noises we heard were the creek down below, birds chirping and a couple horses & chickens. Not bad noises at all! :) We brought our 29’ RV and we were able to have electricity at our site. We took a short little hike down to the creek and it was so tranquil. We would definitely like to come back soon. Thank you for your hospitality Vlad!

Deidre was super nice and very quick to respond! Nice amenities, gorgeous sunsets and a peaceful couple nights in the desert :) We’d go back!

It was very easy to communicate with Marcella and she always responded promptly. We arrived later than we initially planned and Marcella was very flexible.
The best part of this Hipcamp is watching the hot air balloons early in the morning! Great views!

We had been wanting to stay at this location for a long time! So glad we finally made it happen. Our weekend was perfect. Super easy directions and everything matched up to the detailed instructions/guide that was sent prior to our arrival. Sometimes pictures don’t match reality, but this time they matched and it was even better than we anticipated! This location is very thoughtfully set up, down to the smallest details. The fact that cookware, pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils (wine opener!), etc were all provided made this trip super easy. There was even a cooler similar to a Yeti, so we just brought food, ice and our clothes. Towels for the shower and spa are even at the site. The spa was heaven to sit in during the chilly evening and even in the morning. Hot water from the shower was ample, and the compost toilet was very easy to use :) Long story short we can’t wait to come back!!!

We loved this place so much, we woke up the next morning & instantly booked our next stay!! Steve has got the campsite so dialed in, and there are no shortages of places to explore! See you soon, Whiteside Mountain!!!!

We have stayed at a few Hipcamp spots and this was by far the best. Cheryl & Jimbo are fantastic hosts and the Pensione is a killer spot. We set up our sleeping pads and sleeping bags in the darling little casita and enjoyed an amazing night by the fire! Mother Nature put on a fantastic show w/ all the stars in the sky. There was a fully functional bathroom w/ running water available. This was luxurious to us as we've been dry camping for the last 10 days. There were some cool features that made staying at the Pensione really great. Fun lighting, an outdoor sink & shower and a great fire pit being a few of them. There was only ONE minimal draw back of the location, and it was very small to us. You could hear a bit of the traffic from the main road in the evening. Again this was minor and we just plugged in Pandora and enjoyed all the other amazing features of this Hipcamp! Thanks again Cheryl & Jimbo! We'll definitely be back :)

This is a great spot!! We stayed in the pioneer tent, but there is also plenty of space to set up your tent if preferred. Lovely little spot to relax and star gaze :) Our steaks turned out perfectly on the stove!
