Another amazing trip. Beatriz and her goats are so welcoming and I'm in love with the big open sky and beautiful views. My kids specifically requested to return this year after having visited at the end of camping season last year. We will be back! Thank you!

The farm was fantastic, the goats and pigs were fun to watch, I wish they would have mowed some clearly marked areas, but we still loved it and the views were the best, we even saw hot air balloons on Saturday morning, the driveway was a little challenging (37ft 5th wheel) but we were given the option to leave threw the fence which worked well. All and all this was a great place for anyone to enjoy. Thank you for sharing your property with us

In many ways this is a good HipCamp site. It is quiet, secure and offers excellent views of Mount San Jacinto. The sites are spacious but in a very large undeveloped dirt field. The only amenity is a stone labyrinth. It is an adequate camp site but for what one gets the price is a bit steep.

We had a great time! The host was so kind and helpful. She showed us around and introduced us to the animals. The donkey, Betsy, was our favorite. All she wanted was love and attention. We spent a lot of time petting her. The site was great. I recommend bringing shade or pop up tables because there are ants and it can get hot during the day. The piglets were so cute as well! I would recommend!

My girlfriend and I came to Hemet to see a show and found this Hipcamp and wasn’t expecting much. But it truly is a great spot.
The back end of the property where the camp sites are has a view of open wilderness, despite being close to a housing development and is very quiet peaceful.
We walked to the street and took an Uber to the he show, which was super convenient. So you have the luxury of that and being semi close to town, despite being backed up to open wilderness with mountain views.
There’s an operating farm, so hearing the goats and burro was a great addition to the stay. Would highly reccomend.

Beautiful views. Beatriz is very nice and friendly. Lots of space. Great for us for one night on our way to Joshua Tree. Very private and a toilet.

We were already going to give this beautiful place five stars, but this morning Beatriz went above and beyond to make this a core memory for my kids letting them help with the goats and they have not stopped talking about it all day. My girlfriend and I had a blast too! We will be back! Thank you so much!

Let me start by saying that this is not a campground really. It’s someone’s backyard that you’re staying. There are absolutely no trees within vicinity. You’re almost in a city. (Albeit it’s a rural area but there are still houses within walking distance). The area that you got to stay does not have any signs, so you should really go through a gate and then around a property to get to the area that you can stay. The area is relatively clean, but you can see few trashes here and there. We stayed 2 nights and did not see the host at all. But in their credit, they are extremely quick with text.
There is 1 portable toilet right when you enter so if you want to go to toilet you gotta walk down there. The water is coming out of a house that is used for the animals as well and in the heat, it’s just a boiling water.
As far as the animals go, there are only 4 goats. That’s all.
All in all, do you feel private here? Relatively yes.
Do you feel like you’re camping? Not really! You’re still in a city, close to a freeway. (You hear the sound of the cars passing at any given time).
Is there any greenery? Not at all. None. Zip, zero! And because of that, the area is extremely dry and windy. (High fire risk)
Lastly, can you have a good time there? I guess yes. If you don’t want to get a feeling of actually camping and you don’t mind being under sun the entire time with nothing to do around you, residing in the backyard of someone, then go for it.

This is a beautiful spot, close to town but feels far away. Our kids really enjoyed seeing the goats and baby pigs! Beatriz was very responsive and helpful with communication.

Lots of space so still had some privacy in spite of other campers. Easy to find and Beatriz communicated well. Goats and pigs were super cute too:)

Owlbee Farm Campground - Animals
The campground was extremely peaceful for a little city getaway. We enjoyed watching the piglets and chicks try to beat the heat as we did the same. Had the entire place to ourselves. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great time at Owlbee farm!! Beatrice was an amazing host and was very sweet. Her animals were so cute and she let them roam all the campground for everyone to play with and feed. Super close to the diamond valley lake which was beautiful ! Definitely would recommend and will be coming back here again. Hot days and cool nights! 😊
