This ‘tent’ features wood floors, cal king bed, electric blanket and heater, and a private deck with Adirondack chairs, firepit, and propane bbq. It’s a short walk to the full outdoor bathroom with hot/cold water. Shower in the trees!  There are two private hot tubs (one set around 90F for day use, one at around 103F for a chilly eve).

The Forest Service has recently closed most public hikes across California due to the fires.  Im anticipating closures to remain for a while.  So if hanging out at the property and in town sounds good, come!.  If you're set on a big hike on one of the public trails, then come next year.

Honestly, there were no complaints at this magical campsite. There was so much land to run around and explore. Plus, the property is close to downtown in case you wanted to go out and grab some food or a drink.
I was a little worried about the weather but Brian made sure that we had enough warmth. There was everything from multiple kinds of heaters, candles, to and even a heated blanket!
It was kind of hard to see once the sun went down, and there is no fire pit to hang around so remember to bring a headlamp because the land is spread out and there are a lot of stairs.
Overall, the glamping adventure was one for the books and Brian definitely knows how to host!

This "glampsite" went beyond our expectations. Everything was as described, but even better once we actually got there and saw the amazing views. The site was clean and ready for use. However, there was a lot of animal hair inside the tent on the rugs (most likely dog hair or maybe cat hair) so if you are allergic, be aware. The host was there to greet us when we arrived and gave us the run through of the facilities and the equipment available to use. There are lots of hiking trails nearby and even a small town where you can hit up the brewery and local eateries/stores. Would I recommend this campsite to friends? MOST DEFINITELY. We had such a great time.

Hope to see you back. Are you allergic to dogs? There is the occassional dog that stays over. The tent is swept and the rug taken out for a shake between each guest but some hairs might still remain. Mabe we can take the rug out (it’s only 2x3) if you come back.

We had been wanting to stay at this location for a long time! So glad we finally made it happen. Our weekend was perfect. Super easy directions and everything matched up to the detailed instructions/guide that was sent prior to our arrival. Sometimes pictures don’t match reality, but this time they matched and it was even better than we anticipated! This location is very thoughtfully set up, down to the smallest details. The fact that cookware, pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils (wine opener!), etc were all provided made this trip super easy. There was even a cooler similar to a Yeti, so we just brought food, ice and our clothes. Towels for the shower and spa are even at the site. The spa was heaven to sit in during the chilly evening and even in the morning. Hot water from the shower was ample, and the compost toilet was very easy to use :) Long story short we can’t wait to come back!!!

Brian did an amazing job setting up this site! He went above and beyond making us feel welcome and accommodated our group perfectly. Everything was perfect for a girl's trip we took in May. The blankets were heated and there was an extra heater in the tent so we stayed warm during the colder evenings. We hiked during the day and found some great restaurants to eat at in town (10 min drive). The views from our site were breath-taking and we really enjoyed hanging out on the porch watching the sunset at night. I would highly recommend coming here for a weekend and we plan on coming back in the future!

We spent three nights celebrating my 40th birthday. The site exceeded our expectations, was fully stocked with everything needed and very comfortable.
The bathroom was amazing! Idyllwild is also such a darling town, we really enjoyed visiting all of the local spots.
Brian is a great host and has created a wonderful space!

Oh my god. Stay here!! The site was so gorgeous & charming & Brian was such a thoughtful, generous host. The tent was absolutely dreamy & I loved the little wooden bridge you take to get to it. The hot tub was toasty on chilly Idyllwild nights. Brian has great taste in music & it really adds to the ambiance. Idyllwild is such a sweet, arty town & there are tons of amazing hikes nearby & we were pleasantly surprised by the restaurants. (I had kinda low expectations about food because of a recent trip to Joshua Tree, but everything we ate in town was super yummy.) We hope to return!!

There are two spots on the path that leads to the shower in the trees that can be a bit tricky in the dark--that was literally the only thing about the site that we didn't love.

The site was beyond magical and exceeded our expections. Brian did a wonderful job accommodating us - the site had everything we needed: kitchen supplies, candles, heated blanket, parking pass for hikes, maps, etc. The site is close enough to the downtown area and to several hikes; however, we had the most fun relaxing, cooking, jacuzzing, and just taking in the breathtaking view. Highly recommend!

This is the most special place and experience. It exceeded all expectation (and we were pretty excited going into it,) and just knocked our socks off. Thank you Brian for the spectacular introduction to Idyllwild. We are in awe of how beautiful it is and cannot wait to return.

My girlfriend and I had such a blast. This place went above and beyond our expectations.
Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the host Brian who gave us a quick tour of the place and showed us how everything worked. It's amazing what he can build with his bare hands. This place had everything, from a deck with a view of the mountains to a full outdoor shower hut.. this place has it all. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
