Twins have kind of had a bad rep since The Shining. Fear not, though, there are no supernatural occurrences at Los Cuates (the Twins), accessible only by 4x4 drive high clearance. This site is protected on the north by large rock formations and wide open everywhere else, preventing the cabin fever that made Jack a dull boy. This site is great if you’re looking to hike or hunt quail. Plus it has some pretty cool ruins from an old ranch including water tanks (not in use, so bring your own water) and a windmill, kind of like a ghost town. Did we say ghost town?
