Stargazing in the amphitheater while listening to coyotes sing isn't too bad either.

Staying in the cabin was delightful. When we were greeted by the nicest host, his wife and mother. They gave us a tour of the gorgeous property and let us settle in. We took a stroll to the creek and put our feet in, admired all the wildflowers that surrounded us and all the quiet. Trent, the host was so kind and funny. His stories about growing up on the property made you belly laugh and want to hear more! His vision for what he wants to add made us want to come back even more than we already did. He has made this cabin so cozy, quaint and special. There is a cooler for your food, a very cozy bed, linens, some dishes, utensils, a table and chairs and timeless details throughout. So much thought and heart went into making this place as special as it is. The outdoor tub was the best part for us. So warm, cozy and relaxing surrounded by the tranquil forest. We can't wait to go back to experience the warmness of this place and to hang out with the most chill host. You definitely want to meet someone like that in your lifetime to hang with! I can't say enough about this gem of a property, host and experience!

I was a little apprehensive going in because I read some outside reviews of hipcamp about the site not being what was online. But this was perfect! It was exactly like it shows online and Trent was fabulous. Super nice and showed us all around the site and then let us enjoy it but was available if we needed anything. We met all his family when they were tending to the garden. My dog loved being able to hang out outside and enjoy playing instead of being stuck in a hotel. Portland is a really easy drive so everything was very convenient

Our overall experience staying in the cabin on Trent’s property was absolutely INCREDIBLE. We particularly loved the outdoor hot tub and the greenhouse. It was really interesting talking to Trent about the history of the place and his plans for the future. The cabin was perfectly comfortable and cozy, it truly felt like the getaway that we needed. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

We had a great time at this gem of a cabin. All the modern necessities, yet rustic with tons of nostalgic charm. Trent and his mother were wonderful hosts, just like staying with good friends. Beautiful greenhouse packed full of summer produce (thanks for sharing!), private setting and the best outdoor shower and wood-burning bath tub. Thoughtful touches throughout cabin, including moody lighting, tiki torches and treats for our pup. Large property with well maintained trails to explore, including a small creek to dip your toes in. We brought our own camp chairs and cookware, however there is a charcoal grill available (with charcoal) and cute enamel plates, mugs, utensils and a percolator to use. Thank you for hosting us!

Tree frog.Brought our own flattop griddle to cook on. Just add wood. Peaceful retreat by the creek.

This place is amazing!!! It was my first time using Hipcamp so I didn’t know what to expect. What this property offers is beyond my imagination. Trent is such a nice host he prepared everything for us. Ice in the cooler (so you can put ur food in or make ur drinks), he put new water in the hot rub and offered to fire it for us before our flight lands so we could enjoy the tub once we get there. There’s a green house with all kinds of herbs and fruits. The pictures online are accurate and there are even more things to explore on the property. Location works out really nicely for us since it’s right between the city and Mt Hood.

This cabin is adorable, and the amenities are top notch. The description says there's a charcoal grill, but there's also a camping stove with a cute little oven. This cabin isn't just "close in" to town though, it's also very close in to the main house. You can see the house (and its windows) from the outdoor shower. I wish the shower were tucked away over by the cabin. It was still a great little getaway

We absolutely loved our stay. A mini getaway to disconnect while still being close to shopping & restaurants.
The mini cabin is super cute and minimally furnished. There was a cooler with a bag of ice, wood for the tub, a mini propane stove/oven, a cast iron skillet and coffee kettle.
We brought our own chairs, which I would suggest as there are no chairs provided. I would even suggest bringing a small table to set up outside for cooking or eating.
Our first night onsite we were going to go out for dinner but realized food delivery was available and decided to stay in and enjoy the property. The benefits to being close enough to town.
We spent a LOT of time in the tub! So relaxing. There was an awesome lightning & thunder storm that hit and lots of intermittent rain and we loved it all!
The composting outhouse was nice and clean. The shower was great. Just be aware if someone is staying in the other cabin, the shower is located in between the 2 cabins. There wasn’t anyone staying there while we were there.
Trent also invited us to the greenhouse bounty. We had some of the delicious tomatoes. He was super friendly and responsive, one of the best hosts I’ve been in contact with.
Would definitely stay here again!
