Ok, maybe this is more like glamping, but our cozy Yurt a.k.a. Mongolian Round House is a short walk from our 9 acre lake.  The 12 foot diameter yurt can accommodate 3-4 people, if you like being snug!  This electricity-free space has two amazing beanbag beds, dresser, shelves and strings of fairy lights make for a fun & funky stay. The yurt is available spring, summer and fall, it is not yet winterized, we are working on it! Lovely swim-able private lake, forest, labyrinth & gardens. Canoeing, fishing and hiking available on our property.

There is a camping toilet and outdoor shower, both in privacy tents.  The yurt has a camping kitchen a short walk away, with a propane stove, pots & pans, utensils etc.

Full organic meal plans offered separately (and we are happy to pack a lunch for you if you're going to be out and about) -- can accommodate gluten & dairy free and most specialized diets. Please make arrangements ahead of your stay for any meals you would like us to provide. We also offer picnics (with a real basket and everything!) that you can have on site or take on your travels (again, by prior arrangement). We often have farm goodies available as well, depending on the season -- eggs, goat cheese, goat milk, fruits vegetables, herbs, homemade bread, just let us know if you might be interested in anything and we can let you know what's available.

Sauna, Ionizing Foot Bath and private sessions (massage, reiki, health consults) also available, please ask for our fee schedule.

Rachel and Brian were absolutely wonderful, came out alone for a soul searching mission and to clear my head, that being said I am a city boy and got a bit scared being in the woods alone at night but they made me feel safe and honesty overcoming my fears really left me feeling great. I got a reiki service from Rachel and left feeling so calm and rejuvenated it was worth every penny, not to mention she gave me great tips to help relieve my anxieties when I feel them coming on. I feel very lucky to have been able to stay here and would highly recommend.

The yurt is very neat! Super nice people. Would have liked to have my car closer to me for access to food and "stuff" especially because of having a young child with us. Also option to remove bean bag beds for personal sleeping option would make it better for me.

The yurt was absolutely gorgeous, it was my first time staying in one and I loved it. The property is beautiful and full of all kinds of plants. It was great to learn about their farming and about the animals themselves. We enjoyed taking the canoe out on the water at night. If you love dogs, you'll fall in love with theirs!

Amazing time, with amazing hosts. Rachel and Bryan were so much fun. The yurt was immaculate and very comfortable. The cooking area was perfect. A very nice sitting area with a small wood burning stove right outside. The lake was beautiful. We got a packed picnic dinner that we took in the canoe for an amazing evening. The food provided was outstanding, combined with a star filled sky made for an unforgettable experience. Would recommend this to anyone looking to get out of the city, or just a fun experience!!

This space is magical! The energy of the space and land was very high and I immediately fell into a retreat sort of mindset. Brian greeted us (myself, a friend and her small pup) at the top of the driveway. Walked us down to the yurt, showed us the kitchenette and cute stone patio with a chiminea. He even helped us carry some of our gear to the cozy yurt. We didn't meet Rachel, but I communicated with her several times through the hipcamp app. They were both very friendly, kind and easy to connect with.
The bean bag bed was way more comfortable than I imagined! I slept so soundly in the comfy bed and serene nature sounds. The yurt was quite big! Plenty of space for the three of us. Stocked with a battery operated fan (much needed for the humid August nights), battery "candles" and awesome twinkle lights. It was really cool to lay in bed and watch the trees sway in the wind through the dome. It rained our first night and everything in the yurt stayed dry.
The second day was quite buggy, due to the wetness. But, Brian and Rachel provided a homemade awesome and effective bug repellent. They also provided homemade hand sanitizer in the outdoor "bathroom". The composting toilet was clean and very easy to use. It didn't stink at all!
As a chef, I was pretty happy with the kitchen set up. Minimal, but had all we needed. A knife, cutting board, a really nice spatula, saute pan and a sauce pan. Plates, bowls, cups and utensils. The propane stove was easy to use. Very nice that it was under a tent. Cooking in the rain was divine. They provided us with a big jug of their delicious well water. I felt like i was drinking pure magic.
It was quiet and peaceful. A great space for meditation, yoga and most spiritual practices. Meditative walking through the labyrinth and faerie grove were the highlights for me. My friend loved sitting by the steam or the chiminea. We took a beautiful walk around the lake (about a mile) and saw so much wildlife and many medicinal plants. Rachel and Brian are incredible stewards of the sacred land. This space is rich with healing energy. I will definitely be returning to this lovely place.

The Yurt was a cozy little spot on a beautiful farm. We spent a wonderful weekend reading books in the most comfortable bean bag beds in the Yurt while it was raining, and cooking on the wood-fired stove, exploring the farm, meeting the little goats and horses, and hiking in the area once it got warmer and drier. Wish it would have been a little warmer so we could have gone swimming in the lake but instead we got beautiful views of it with the mist rising over the lake surrounded by the changing colors of the trees. Brian was incredibly kind and helpful. He showed us around the farm and made us meet the sweet farm animals, many of whom were rescues. Their dogs were very sweet and playful too. Spent most time with the gentlest giant Nala. I admire Rachel and Brian for maintaining this amazing space, sharing it with people looking for some peace, and most of all for rescuing so many wonderful animals!!! Thank you!

Beautiful property! It was very quiet and peaceful. The yurt is a stone's throw away from the lake and there are so many different areas where you can just relax. Also very close to hiking trails that are just down the road. Would definitely come back again!
