Our 4-cabin glamp ground is perched on a Catskills mountaintop, surrounded by rolling farms and breathtaking views. Each cabin provides the comfort of a real bed with fitted sheets and pillows (guests bring their own bedding, towels, and water). One cabin features a cozy propane heater, while another offers the charm of a cast-iron wood-burning stove — perfect for cooler nights. Three of the cabins include Weber grills, and every site has space if you’d like to pitch your own tent alongside your cabin or park your Sprinter type vans. This is camping made easy: we provide clean, welcoming shelters so you can focus on the adventure. You’ll find nearby gems like Thacher State Park, Kaaterskill Falls, E.N. Huyck Preserve, and Howe Caverns, all just a short drive away. Whether you’re exploring the trails, chasing waterfalls, or stargazing by the fire, our mountaintop retreat offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and Catskills beauty.

Low weekly rates - 2 night minimum. - Cozy 10x14 ft structure with elevated back deck and dozens of windows. Stay in the cabin or feel free to pitch your own tent. - Real queen-size memory foam mattress (pillows + fitted sheet provided—bring your own blankets/sleeping bag & towels). - Indoor dining table & bar stools. - Outdoor picnic table and seating. - Sink with empty 2.5-gallon water jug tap. (fill with water you bring) - Weber propane BBQ grill (propane included) - Wall mounted indoor propane heater. - Basic utensils, silverware, mugs, paper plates, napkins, and spices. - Shared port-a-potty. - Unlimited basic-speed Wi-Fi. No hot water, electricity, or showers. However there is an outdoor enclosed tub area, so you bring enough water you can wash up in there. (NOTE: the tub area is not maintained during the week). NOTE: Camp fires and fire pits are not allowed. Also, all trash must be taken with you. We are a carry-in / carry-out campground. The Stargazer is one of four campsites on our property, tucked into a large grassy field bordered by a wall of old-growth maples. With windows all around, you’ll feel like you’re sleeping under the stars—while still safe from wind, rain, animals and chilly temperatures. At night, the sky opens up to reveal breathtaking views of the Milky Way. On clear evenings, it feels like your own private planetarium. 🛋 Comfort & Amenities The highlight of the Stargazer is its luxury queen-sized memory foam mattress—a real bed in a rustic setting. We provide pillows, pillowcases, and a fitted sheet, but you’ll need to bring your own sleeping bags or warm blankets (and towels). There’s a propane wall heater to keep things cozy. We also include a Weber propane grill so you can enjoy simple outdoor meals without needing a campfire. 🚶‍♂️ Surroundings You’ll be staying on an isolated dirt road surrounded by thousands of acres of farmland and state parks. It’s peaceful, quiet, and perfect for long walks or mountain biking. Along the road, you’ll pass red barns, ponds, and sometimes even animals from nearby Heather Ridge Farm. For day trips: Multiple state parks within 30 minutes such as: E.N. Huyck Preserve (30 min) Thacher Park (30 min) Kaaterskill Falls (50 min) Howe Caverns (40 min)

We are a carry in / carry out campground You are in the middle of nature — expect to encounter insects, and possibly a curious country mouse. We take great care to keep critters out, but they are part of the experience. 🌲 The Fox A-frame is our most secluded retreat yet. Simple, sustainable, and filled with forest sounds, it’s a place to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the natural world.

Private Field w/ Mountain Views
I had the pleasure of meeting Stephen, his family, and one of his neighbors. They are really some of the friendliest people. They were all incredibly accommodating for anything I might have needed. I was given some choices about where to put up my tent, and I chose the wooded option since I had a hammock I wanted to string up. There are some farms along the very private dirt road that Stephen lives on. My car was a convenient distance from where I was able to set up. The views of the Catskills, sunset, and sunrise are all stunning. There's also a small field full of wildflowers right next to the spot I set up. I enjoyed a peaceful walk on the dirt road during sunset. I would be glad to camp here again.
