Cedar Bloom Open Camping
in Cedar Bloom, OregonFantastic swimming hole!
Cedar Bloom Farm is absolutely beautiful! This property has one of the biggest, best swimming holes you can find for camping. The water is chilly but super refreshing and the river is very private. The shady camping spaces were great for the warm weather and the hosts had so many amenities available to us. We will definitely be back!
Site 1 - Forest Camping
in Maple Creek Ranch, CaliforniaGreat campsite!
We had a great stay! The campsite was extremely clean, quiet and private. We really enjoyed hanging out by the pond in the evening watching the turtles. Ron notified us in advance of the yellow jackets, which were extremely aggressive over any food, not just meat. I highly recommend a mesh tent in yellow jacket season! Overall, a great stay!
Old West Ranch Site #1
in Silver Fork Ranch, CaliforniaWe had a wonderful time at Silver Fork Ranch! The site was secluded and very quiet and the swimming holes and waterfalls were wonderful. I would definitely recommend visiting when it is very warm as the water is very cold but it is also very pleasant to sit by the water. We will definitely be back!
Animal Lovers Paradise
in Animal Lovers Paradise, CaliforniaWe had a wonderful stay at Animal Lover's Paradise! Jim was an amazing host who gave us a tour of the whole property. Everything was as listed. It was hot, but there was a cold ravine to wade in to cool down in, and a paddle boat to paddle across the pond/lake in. There were minimal mosquitoes and yellow jackets, just a few flies. In the morning, Jim introduced us to all of the animals and let us help feed and clean up in the barn, which was fantastic. We went to the American River to go rafting afterwards which was a great addition to the day. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this campsite and would definitely come back.
