Past trip
in Above Syd at Trigonometry point, New South WalesFull of cow dung and overgrown.
We arrived at camp Friday night. Sign at the front of the gate doesnât inspire confidence that you have the right spot as it says âKeep Out, No Trespass, No entry.â Short track from the road to the campsite. When we arrived the camp
Site was full of cows, and an enormous amount of old and fresh cow dung was all throughout the campsite. Couldnât walk a few steps without stepping or side stepping cow dung. Campsite is overgrown and not mowed. Campsite is very close to the road so expect to hear cars and trucks. This was not the camp experience for us so we left and did not stay. Messaged the host via Hipcamp to say we were not staying and two days later still no response or acknowledgment form the host. Was a waste of $200

Fantastic location to explore the Evans Head area. Super helpful and friendly host, Phil guided us into camp and gave us free range to camp whenever we wanted on the huge property.
Flat and manicured with grass and trees for shade. Close walk to river though be mindful of the mozzies.
We will be back for sure. Great spot if travelling up or down the east coast as close to M1.

Easy to find with great instructions from owner.
Hosts accommodated us at the last minute over a long weekend which we were very grateful for.
Small camp but well laid out so you have space.
Creek around camp gives a nice respite from the heat.
Nice hosts who ensure a tidy camp area for you to enjoy. Firewood for sale also a bonus with a thoughtful wheelbarrow left to make transport of wood to your camp easy.
Close to dam and waterfalls to use as a base to explore the area.

Cedar Glade
in Platypus Pools, New South WalesPrivate and tranquil.
This was our third time visiting Chrisâs farm and second time at Cedar Glade. It is a perfect spot for privacy and tranquility. Beautiful spot, with tons of birdlifeâŚ. We had a fascinating group of 13 White-winged Choughs visit for a few days, and an Azure Kingfisher was a stunning sight to witness. Swimming hole is great on warmer days. Close to Stroud where the pub serves up the best southern fried chicken burger. Chris is a perfect host, so friendly and helpful.

Flat grassy well maintained camp area right on the river with shady pockets to escape the summer heat. Firewood bundle is fantastic and the toilet and shower amenities very clean and well presented. Excellent communication from the hosts Toni and John are one of the best Host couples around.

in Hawkesbury Hideaway, New South WalesPerfect hosts! so friendly.
Perfect hosts, super friendly and really committed to helping you enjoy your stay. Flat mowed grassy campsite. We purchased firewood and it was one of the best firewood bundles we have had with a hipcamp, thoughtfully put together so you had small bits to get your fire started and then small and medium sized logs. Camp area is very well maintained and a toilet and shower available if you need it.
