Shawn and his wife were the perfect hosts!
They were so kind and helpful from the start of our planning and booking, answering all questions promptly. They arrived on site to greet us and share some of the spots on the property for us to visit, the little creek chickens, and some fun walking paths for my family and I.
The home is so fun, tiny but spacious, clean, homey, with a bathroom and shower, what a treat! A peaceful and great place to stay, it was perfect for my husband, and I and our two little children. We will be back because of all the fun places that you can explore nearby like the river and Milo State Park.

Kelly has created such an incredible experience by the White Salmon River. When we arrived we were so amazed by how well established everything on her property has been set up. A beautiful outdoor kitchen and heated bathrooms. We loved the sound of the river at night, and seeing the milky way at night.
Getting to the site is easy, and once you arrive, all the amenities you need are right there and ready to use. If you are looking for a truly unique stay as you drive through the Gorge, or on your way to Mt Adams, this is a spot you can't pass up.

(Dispersed site)
My husband and I enjoyed our stay on David's idyllic island. The way to Duncan Island is very picturesque. Tucked away from the main road, the camp site is hidden enough yet makes you feel like you aren't completely out of civilization. There is plenty of land to set up your site, we set up close to the raspberry bushes, it has a water pump, large campfire ring and a trampoline. We learned some amazing things about the island like the high quality of soil, plenty of opportunities for duck hunting or fishing; furthermore the water is gravity fed and with the perfect system of how the water flows and is fed to the island, you won't find mosquitos. Camping out early spring it was plenty warm during the day, and at night it got pretty chilly, but with our campfire going, it was comfortable. We also enjoyed stargazing around our fire! Ps- For the light sleepers know that there is the occasional noise from the highway.

Seaview WA
in Pacific Alder Cabin, WashingtonCute & cosy stat near the beach
Absolutely recommend staying at the Pacific Alder Cabin. It was very easy to get to and so close to the beach! We will want to come back and stay here again. It has all you need, and is the perfect place for families especially if you have little kids.
Mt. Rainier Glamping
in Mt. Rainier Glamping, WashingtonGlamping close to mt. rainier
A serene and pretty place to glamp in. My family (two small kids) and I enjoyed our stay here. What makes it glamping is the memory foam queen bed, the fan, USB outlets and lamp because they have an electric hook up. There is running water and an outhouse (which was heavily used when we arrived). It was nice to have been able to make use of the fire pit this season!
Site 4 - Grace Acres Scenic RV Camping
in Grace Acres Scenic RV Camping, OregonSprawling greenery for all
Paula and Ed are two wonderful hosts, who accommodated us. They greeted us as soon as we got to their property and showed us the clean and well kept space. The gravel site has 6 sites with hookups for your needs. If you happen to be car camping they are equipped with a full bathroom with access to a hot shower. There is plenty of space for kids & fur kids to play around and explore. It is quite peaceful for being in a location with other farms and properties but not once did we hear or see any traffic come thru. We would want to come back simply because we enjoyed our short time with Paula and Ed.
Spacious Orchardside Tent
in Kings Valley Gardens, OregonFamily friendly camping on a farm
Andrea and John were so kind and generous of their time and resources. They were flexible with our late check in, in spite of arriving at dark, Andrea was waiting for us to show us to our site. We drove a few yards into the canvas tent site. During the wet months the site did not have electricity running through it so we made use of our lanterns and headlamps. But Andrea assures us that they will have lights strung up in the future.
We slept well on the futon (even me being 24 weeks pregnant)! In the morning, we made breakfast at the outdoor kitchen just a down the path, there is also an outhouse or "the otter house". The blueberries were all picked for the season but the orchards were still brimming with apples. There was even a family of 6 that came out to pick the apples. We would love to come back in the warmer months and pick blueberries!

Site 2 - Cascade Valley Camp
in Cascade Valley Camp & Adventure, OregonCamping for the whole family
Aubrey and Kim are the kindest and most thoughtful hosts. We were first greeted by Aubrey, who showed us around the site, and amenities. There were personal touches that really did make us feel welcomed!
Plenty thought is given to this site as it is perfect for families. It has a communal feel, where campers have the option to cook in their outdoor kitchen and dine at the gazebo. The site has hammocks to laze around, a gnome garden, and for plenty for the little explorers.
While we were surrounded by other campers nearby, we still enjoyed our privacy. Aubrey and Kim make themselves available and are helpful if you need anything. Plus, there is a gas station and two grocery stores nearby. It is also conveniently situated by sites like Sahalie and Koosah falls, Clear Blue Lake etc.
High Prärie Loft
in Nadja's Hideway, WashingtonNadja's German-prairie-style loft has a lot of potential for it being a new site. We stayed a night in this very minimal basic loft. We brought an air mattress and used the mattress pads that were provided. There is a full bath in the basement of the loft and a space that serves as a kitchenette, or you can make your meals outside on one of the tables. Overall, the loft has a simple and rustic feel. The site is very 'prairie' like wih Mt. Saint Helens in the background and friendly chickens roaming freely. Nadja was very communicative and made us feel welcome despite her being away at that time.
Hot Shower, Clean, Quiet, and Safe
in Bandon Wayside, OregonVibrant, cheerful & clean stay!
My husband and I had an amazing time at Bandon Wayside. The place meets more than your expectations, it is super clean, well maintained, the hosts are so kind and ready to help. In spite of being amidst the motel guests and RV campers, it was orderly and pleasant to dwell in the space. The amenities like the outdoor kitchen/dining area, smoking rooms, and the oh so delightfully clean bathrooms are wonderful. The cute downtown area is within walking distance and the beach is a 15min drive. You don't want to miss Face Rock! We are definitely coming back.

Freya's Gypsy Caravan
in Gypsy Caravan Retreat, OregonGlamping in a gypsy caravan
When we arrived at the neighborhood in which Freya's site is located we were quickly surprised as we followed the path to the back of her house in which the caravan was so intimately nestled. Surrounded by bamboo and various lush growth this site feels private despite its urban surroundings. This space is lovingly and intentionally created for travelers with all the basic amenities. We were comfortable inside the caravan, with heat provided, comfy bedding, and a place to sit back and relax. Freya is warm and kind, communication was great, and her cat Django is the most friendliest cat I've ever met!
Site 3 - Klickitat Canyon Wine Tent Camping
in Klickitat Canyon Winery, WashingtonThe Oak Woodland Tent Camp site is very pretty. My husband and I were fortunate to experience a clear and sunny day, so we enjoyed being around the site, camping was so fun since it felt isolated enough (except for the noise from traffic at times). Lots to explore, great for pets and kids to run wild and for you to roam around. Loved the sound of turkeys gaggling nearby (possibly from a neighboring farm). Coming in from Portland, the ride is gorgeous and ample of places to go hiking, the scenery is amazing.
