in Cosumnes River Ranch, CaliforniaAbsolute slice of heaven! Charming cabin, very comfortable, very clean facilities, beautiful river. And Tom was probably the best host we’ve ever encountered. 100% positive experience!
T17 - Fallen Oak Flats
in Finnon Lake Recreation Area, CaliforniaCan’t say enough good things about this campground!! Super clean bathrooms, well maintained grounds, beautiful lake, very helpful and friendly hosts. The frogs in the evening and geese in the morning just add to the wonderful camping experience. Don’t forget to check out the amazing bald eagles’ nest across the lake. The bats at sunset even keep the mosquitoes to a minimum! We booked 2 campsites next to each other for two adults, two kids and two dogs because we like to spread out and we had more than enough room.
