Past trips
Solace Farm
in Solace Farm, South DakotaGreat labor day weekend
Cinda was very welcoming and accommodating. We stayed two nights and my 7 year old son loved how we were visited both mornings during breakfast by a couple friendly chickens. He also loved bringing a meal to the two goats nearby. The jam, bread, and eggs were really tasty after a long day of hiking in the nearby parks. Lastly, it was pretty awesome listening the the (I'm assuming) pack of coyotes howling as we went to sleep.
Prairie Creek Campground
in Prairie Creek Forest Campground, MinnesotaAll around excellent
This place is fantastic! We had the whole place to ourselves. Large sites with everything you need for tent camping. We had to leave due to an emergency unfortunately but will definitely be back. Stephen was awesome help as I cut my finger and he had the first aid I needed to take care of it until I could pack up and go. Highly recommended for a secluded getaway.
Life is Good
in Shady Rest Acres, MinnesotaPhenomenal experience
Patty and Michelle were excellent hosts. The farm was peaceful and fun. The animals were just as cordial. Our stay was cut short due to tent malfunctions, unexpected cold, and our 7 yr old ready to go home, however, I would highly recommend.
