Past trip
in wentz family farm, ColoradoPrivate oasis on the high plains
What an amazing place to camp! We took a pop-up and had great shade under the cottonwood trees. We swam, fished, kayaked, bbqâd, had campfires and soaked up all the wildlife and the farm life, with the cows grazing by our site at different times during the day. In this well stocked fishing hole we caught & released small mouth bass, large mouth bass, perch, and crappie. Our dogs had an absolute blast in the swimming hole and at this well fenced, large camp site. There is another lake you can access by foot and/or camp at if you preferâŚand if someone was camping there we would never have heard or seen them until we walked over to the lake or they walked over to the fishing/swimming hole. Both sites are incredibly private! We were about 14 minutes drive to Fort Morgan. Brian was an outstanding host! Without question, we would most definitely camp here again! Loved it!
Past trip
in New Sky Ranch : Eco-building + Art, ColoradoNew Sky Ranch is a wonderful oasis hidden in one of the most magical regionsâŚSaguache County. We brought our pop up camper and our friends brought a tent. They also have two glamping tents on their property available for rent both are located away from one another offering peace and solitude. The communal items are thoughtfully laid out for all to enjoy from the composting outhouse and hand washing station, to an outdoor shower, kitchen area, hammocks, and fire pit. Gigi and Victor are incredibly responsive and helpful. The stars are simply amazing in this location and the quiet of the night makes for excellent sleep! Thank you, Gigi and Victor! I look forward to returning.

(Dispersed site)
Camping at Campe Diem was so peaceful! We loved having a large area all to ourselves and I was happy that I could easily fit my pop up in the site RH assigned us (Pismo). We also loved being just minutes away from the reservoir where we spent the day cooling off. RH was very responsive. We would stay here again.

Past trip
in Mesa Top camping, New MexicoSuch a unique spot! This was our first Hip Camp and it wonât be the last! Kim was easy to communicate with. She provided more than expected at the site! One night here was ideal to check out Madrid (close to campsite but road makes it a 10 minute drive), and camp under the stars! I personally would not have wanted to bring a RV / trailer up the road unless it is a rugged build/design, or you are willing for it to take some rocky road abuse and are going to stay for awhile, we truck camped but her tent spot is a great option too.
Jody hasn't gone on any trips yet.
