Jeff A.doesn't recommend this listing.
Host was nowhere to be found when we arrived. Instructions were to call or knock on door of residence. Did both no response. Hostâs mom showed up eventually but knew very little about the accommodation except that the trash had not been removed since last rental.
Site photos are very deceiving. None of them showed the MANY junked cars you will be camping near. Site was very overgrown.
We left and found a very nice alternative site even closer to Watertown NP.
To his credit host did return my call later in the evening and left a message.
WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY. DOES NOT MEET THE QUALITY THAT WE HAVE COME TO ENJOY USING HIPCAMP.
Past trip
in Back Forty Vineyards, British ColumbiaThe site was exactly as advertised. The exciting thing are their plans going forward. First night we had a visit from one of the owners, second night, her mother. Great people! Please book this site. We used it as a base and was able to do day trips which included many east coast towns and the west coast favorite, Tofino. We will be back!
Past trip
in Wild Coast Parksville Campsite, British ColumbiaWas exactly as advertised. The exciting thing was hearing and seeing the new improvements they are making. Stayed two nights. First night we met one of the owners the second night we met her mom. Great people!
We used this as a base and was able to do day trips to see most of the central island including a trip over the mountains to Tofino.
Past trip
in Sunfair Vistas, Joshua Tree, CaliforniaMatthewâs land offers as much (or more) as the NPS does inside Joshua Tree. Unless you are an avid rock climber and want to camp next to you rock pile I would recommend staying here as a base to visit the park. It is literally just across the highway. Sun rise and sunset was fantastic.
Jeff hasn't gone on any trips yet.
Hipcamp Hosts can leave an optional review of their Hipcampers after the trip is completed. This is where those reviews from Hipcamp Hosts will appear.
