#1 - Shady & Big
in Jug Handle Creek Farm, CaliforniaSite 2
in Free Verse Farm, VermontGo go go go!! wonderful place!
This is our second time visiting this site... I can only say that Misha and his family are great hosts, have a wonderful property and it is a perfect, unique and quite place to camp. Definitely go! Donât think about it you will not regret it.
Forest Edge Campsite
in Free Verse Farm, VermontSite 6 - Tippy Top
in Sacred Nectar Sanctuary, New HampshireIt all starts with a great campsite setting. Excellent campfire setup, cool picnic table, and candles! But.. all this is pretty basic when you compare it to the actual landscape and scenery you immerse in.
Definitely, a place I will we will go back to. Nick received us well and gave us a quick tour of his home, showed us around and gave us some hiking tips of the area.
There are 6 really personal/isolated / nice-to-be-in campsites each with its own uniqueness and charm. We stayed in site 5, high up in in the mountain shoulder where we got to see the sunset and sunrise and beautiful sky at night.
In conclusion, I would say... GO!! Enjoy!
Keep it clean, quiet and secret!!!
Forest Edge Campsite
in Free Verse Farm, VermontThis place is fantastic, if you want a view of the horizon when you open up your tent, this is the place! We enjoyed the most beautiful views of the valley and mountains. The campsite is private and unique. Our host Misha was accommodating and kind, definitely a great human :). He has organized the camping sites so that no one hears / looks to each other and all great the best views. Facilities are what you need, a nice outhouse, with running water, picnic tables to get comfortable and a nice size fire-ring to each site.
Misty Mountain Farm Camping
in Misty Mountain Farm, VermontAll of what a working farm can offer... Animals, landscapes, kind people and a pleasant experience. It was a last minute camping trip with our 2 and 5-year-old sons. One of the best experiences yet. We definitely will go back!. After surviving the most beautiful pounding storm, our host caringly came to our tent and offered us a couple of towels, tho to his surprise all of us stayed dry :) Ending the day with a tour of the farm and two beautiful rainbows as we set the fire.
So!. yes do go, and experience the Farm!
FieldEdge--"Idaho" Site
in Moon In The Pond Farm, MassachusettsOne of the best experiences in my recent camping. Took my three-year-old son on his first camping trip ever! As any father wishes - you just want to have all things set up right for the magic to happen, for the magic to happened!
On arrival, the farm is beautiful and very well set up. The campsite is walking distance from the farm and isolated enough to feel in sync with nature. We camped by the pond and to our surprise, we had the most amazing firefly show at night with a background frog symphony. Marshmallows around the fire and just good company.
Hospitality was great, Dom (owner) gave us a great tour of the farm. We met all the animals and got to know his farming philosophy.
I would unmistakably recommend the Moon in the Pond Farm for all of you how are looking for a nice easy first encounter with camping and nature. Easy access, walking distance from the car, great hospitality and best of all great environment.
I will be back!
Thx!
