Past trip
in Above the Fray Glamping, Black Mtn., North CarolinaNo such thing as ârained outâ here
The road was well kept, the glamping deck well stocked and in good condition, and the view worth the drive! We were so grateful for the shed roof, since we ended up getting rain. Our Luna dog had a great (and safe) time on her first camping trip. Thanks guys!

We really loved our weekend camping trip here! After lunch at the bistro, which tasted amazing, we had dessert at the distillery! ;) The kids enjoyed visiting the animals and sitting on the swings while we sampled! Highly recommend both of those experiences while you are here. I only wish we had come in the summer when more fruit was in season and when the kids could have gone swimming in the lake! We hope to return many times to this special spot!

We were made to feel so at home in this beautiful valley (which we had no trouble finding thanks to some excellent navigational advice from our friendly host). Big thanks to Jay for his funny stories and for sharing the history of this special place. We canât wait to bring more friends and return!

Terra Incognita Vineyard
in Terra Incognita Vineyard, GeorgiaThis place is a treasure for so many reasons, the beauty, the hospitality, the wineâŚItâs become our familyâs favorite spot to get away from the hassles of home. Torsten and everyone at Terra Incognita always make us feel welcome. And nothing beats a clean bathroom when youâre camping!
Terra Incognita Vineyard
in Terra Incognita Vineyard, GeorgiaOur new favorite place
This was such a picturesque hilltop for our Easter escape! Be prepared for the mountain roads, but the views and the space and the lovely tree swing are well worth the drive. Torsten was friendly and helpful, welcoming us over to the open air pavilion where the food truck and the wine bar were serving up some of the southâs finest pairings. The kids enjoyed a community egg hunt hosted by the vineyard as well. Terra Incognita is the perfect place to get away and get filled back up.
