in Owl Glade, WashingtonSnug Shack A-Frame Cabin
in Oak Ring Ridge, CaliforniaI absolutely loved my experience. Every detail of the cabin is so unique and thoughtful. It is very remote, but I happen to have cell service just 5 minutes down the road. I stayed with my pup and we hiked around in the area and watched the sunset over a beautiful canyon. The coyotes were active and pretty loud all night, which kept my dog up, but I didn't mind :) Added to the experience! There was a dusting of snow (early April) but the wood stove heated up the cabin very quickly. I will definitely be back, a very magical place.
Star A-Frame Cabin, Cedar Bloom
in Cedar Bloom, OregonLoved my adorable A frame. We had the place to ourselves and it was wonderful. One of the best showers ever!

in Cedar+Fern, WashingtonI had a wonderful stay at Cedar and Fern. I booked last minute for a vacation up to the Olympic National Park. They were very quick to respond with directions and I felt comfortable arriving there after dark. The owners were away and I was the only camper. The location is quiet, but not too far off the 101. A perfect jump off spot to explore the Hood Canal area. Though I arrived in the dark, I felt safe even as a solo traveler. In the morning I laid in the hammock and took a hike down to the river. There were many awesome hidden gems throughout the property as well as clean and comfortable accommodations. Iâll be back to visit. Thanks for a a great stay in your sanctuary!

in Ochoco National Forest, Oregon
Small remote lake with great swimming and wildlife but not much privacy. Sometimes rowdy campers come here to party but other times itâs quiet. Tent sites are all on the lake with nice views.
in Mt. Hood National Forest, Oregon
Wonderful hot springs experience, but avoid peak times! Dog friendly!

One of many stops along the Cascade Lakes Highway to swim and kayak. Clear blue water and alpine views.
