Past trip
in God's Country Camping, MontanaBeautiful spot with room for multiple sites but each site has privacy. Quiet but close to town. Easy walk to the river with a nice trail along the banks. We had plenty of room at our site with a 22' and a 30' camper and a 4Runner. Make sure you're good at backing a trailer, though. The 30' camper would not have made it around the circular drive.
Past trip
in Boho Idaho, IdahoVery quiet and Peaceful. Close to town but feels very secluded.
Past trip
in Forest Meadow, MontanaMostly quiet when the dogs aren't barking. Very secluded. Not a large spot. Big enough for our 22 foot pull type trailer and truck but not much wiggle room for turning around. Driveway is rough but doable. A little hard to locate as the sign is very small. We had a nice relaxing stay and enjoyed the location. Feels out in the boonies but easy drive to towns.

Past trip
Heaven in Wallace
in Veronica S.âs Land, IdahoCraig D.has mixed feelings towards this listing.
The area was very nice but a little odd staying right in a neighborhood. It was an easy walk into town but we had houses on both sides of us and across the street. It was very easy to see the property line as the neighbor next to us had no trespassing signs on the property line and their lawn was very nicely mowed and the property we were on was not. Veronica was very easy to communicate with and prompt about replies and gave very clear instructions on how to get there.
Past trip
in Last Best Place, MontanaBeautiful spot just off the highway. In mature pine and fir trees so plenty of shade, which was nice during this heat wave we are having now. Cooled down enough at night we needed our blankets in the camper with the windows open. A little noisy from the highway but nothing annoying and it quieted down about 11:00 each night. Good central spot to hit the many lakes and rivers in the area. Would stay again if it's available.

Past trip
in Private Idaho: mountain in Wallace, IdahoSome have said the road is noisy or busy but it's not bad. By bedtime every night traffic settles down and it is quiet. We sat outside at dusk watching the bats. The site itself is large and flat and didn't need to block the camper up at all. The cemetary across the road is very interesting if you like that stuff. I would highly recommended the site and would stay again. Directions she sent were excellent.
Past trip
in A Place of Tranquility, MontanaHad a great time. Met our children half way for two nites of camping. We are from Montana so we understand hospitality on the western side of this state. That is exactly what we got the minute we pulled in. Would definitly stay again to enjoy the peace and quite.
Craig hasn't gone on any trips yet.

Site 1 - Gallatin River Getaway
in Gallatin River Getaway, MontanaSwimming and fishing holes!
Excellent spot. Easy access, right by the Gallatin, perfect fishing and swimming holes. Roger came out to meet us and he is very nice and welcoming. A little noisy as train track right across the river but slept great, didn't bother us at all. The shooting range quiets down at night. We used it as a base and traveled and didn't sit there all day so it never bothered us. We'll stay there again.
