Mary Ann was very responsive until I told her we were having camper battery problems and would not be able to visit their property. It was only about 30 minutes after I requested the spot. But I have not heard anything since and will be very disappointed if she charges me for a space we had booked for less than an hour..

We only stayed one night and it was fine for our purpose. Nice wooded area with spots to choose from. Not sure how responsive the host would have been, if really needed, as we did not see them at all or hear back from them when we sent a message about our arrival.

This location provided a safe place to leave our camper to explore the area and was exactly what we were looking for. Mary Ann's recommendation for paddling our kayaks on nearby Salmon Lake was a perfect alternative to more crowded lakes in the area.

I loved camping here! I rented the most private site, which opened up the entire SW corner area of their property. There aren’t roads, but they keep the land really clean and there are cleared routes. It’s uphill; steepish but my Subaru was fine, and once you crest the bench it’s a park! I literally went to the SW corner and it was flat, private, open and shady. Just perfect. As were the visits from the gorgeous, friendly horses. There is no avoiding the highway noise, but a good attitude and a little music and you don’t notice. Great hosts too. Easy communication and really generous with the land and my privacy. So glad I landed there!

Wonderful area that suited our needs perfectly. Mary Ann was very pleasant to interact with and was very accommodating. It’s very close to the highway but if you’re alright with that I would definitely recommend. There were hardly any bugs to deal with. There’s a swimming hole in the river 3 minutes up the road and salmon lake is only 11 minutes away.

We enjoyed staying on Mary’s property. The instructions for entering the property was a bit confusing so we ended up on the wrong property, but the neighbor was gracious enough to point us in the right direction. Turn right off the highway (coming from Missoula) straight through the cattle guard gates. We stayed for 3 nights and even had the neighbors stop by to make sure we had settled fine. We loved getting to interact with the locals and look forward to visiting again.

Nice place to set up camp for a few nights👍🏻 Mary Ann’s instructions made it easy to locate and get settled. Beautiful wooded area. Easy access to rivers and lakes for swimming and fishing. Lots of space for yard games and fire pits.
Garnet Ghost Town is in the area for some fun and hiking.
We enjoyed our stay as it was much quieter and easier to access than the busy people filled campgrounds. Tom corralled the horses for us- he said they may be too friendly. 🙂 but he invited us to see and pet the new fowls. So sweet! I would recommend staying here!

Beautiful spot just off the highway. In mature pine and fir trees so plenty of shade, which was nice during this heat wave we are having now. Cooled down enough at night we needed our blankets in the camper with the windows open. A little noisy from the highway but nothing annoying and it quieted down about 11:00 each night. Good central spot to hit the many lakes and rivers in the area. Would stay again if it's available.

Host was attentive and communicative. There were horses on site, which was nice. Picnic table and fire ring. It was pretty loud because the road is close to the side so that kind of ruined the mood.

We had to pack everything and move our pop up camper to a different site after the first night due to road noise. The sound of tractor trailer brakes throughout the night was not conducive to sleep. There is another site about 100 feet away from the road, but 3 campers were already parked in those spots and they too complained about the road noise in the morning. Unfortunately, I had booked 4 nights and only stayed the first night. The host would not refund me for any of the additional nights, so we were out $120 and had to pay for a different site.

This camp was great! It had a large area with lots of trees to offer shade. If you are rafting or fishing the Blackfoot river it was the perfect location for the put-in on the upper canyon section. Mary Ann was super nice and allowed us to pick any location on the property for our 17 ft. trailer. There are fire rings on the property and Mary Ann offered to move the fire ring to whatever location we desired for our camp. I would go back and stay in the future.

This campsite sits about 100 feet off the busy main road (MT200) which has heavy traffic (even over night, making sleeping difficult if you sleep light). The site is SHARED dispersed camping so you might have a few neighbors close by. Plenty of shade and close to the Blackfoot river. Host was very nice and accommodating and greeted us when we arrived.

The property was lovely. I requested to cancel additional 3 days because I was not feeling the vibe and she never replied. That being said, the property is nice and has free fire wood that she provided and has plenty of shade.

We feel refreshed and rejuvenated after our stay at Mary Ann's in Greenough, MT.
To escape a heatwave at home we headed to the lakes and forest and found a beautiful shady peaceful retreat. Mary Ann checked in on us and even dropped off a sweet little table for our outdoor sitting area, but we enjoyed a sense of peaceful privacy in the majestic pines.
After days spent kayaking, visiting Garnet Ghost Town, exploring mountain trails, and looking admiringly up at Gus, the 1,000 year old Larch, we returned to our heavenly campsite for a great night sleep and to plan the next fun day.

Beautiful, peaceful place to stay for a few nights. It was pretty private except for one other camper a ways away.
Things to note: we stayed in the upper section with shade. Our trailer is 33ft, and we found one area to park; I don’t recommend it for anything larger. The lower section has very little shade and is close to the busy (and loud) Highway though.
There is no river access despite the picture showing it.
Bring bug spray - lots of mosquitoes mid-June.
Zero cell signal with Verizon. Great to get away.

Big open field but tucked away under some pines. Easy to get trailer in and out. Quiet and really just an easy overnight stay. Beautiful area and gorgeous horses running the perimeter.
