The Barn Bunkhouse
in Dark Horse Farm, FloridaWhat a brilliant and lovely space! I love that this stall was turned into a small room for guests. I loved my stay here for one night, and would have loved to stay another night or two if Iād had the time. Laura is a great host! I would highly recommend this space to anyone looking for a unique experience- this was a great camping alternative for me as I didnāt want to set up my tent and all for just one night! The property was also very beautiful and flowers were blooming.

My goodness. What an amazing experience! Hospitality is next level. The property is beautiful & spacious. The food at Swampfire is SO good. Kay, Harvin, John- all of them are so kind and accommodating. I was running late for check in- it was about dark. John came and met me at the office, showed me around, helped me pick a good spot, brought me a fire pit, firewood, table. He made sure I was good to go, answered any questions. He and harvin came around periodically to see if I need anything. The bathrooms were great, hot water and AC :0 the lodge is close to Okeefenokee! I didnāt go, but I came close. Itās nice and out in the middle of no where- exactly my vibe haha! The food at swampfire was awesome. I love the salad, the steak was so tasty, the scallops were sooo good- first time I had them fried. The desert was also so decadent. The horseback riding was a great first experience! John was very knowledgeable and helpful. I really enjoyed getting to interact with the horses and observing each of their personalities. I canāt wait to come back! Iāve hipcamped all over GA and SC, this is one of my favorites so far.

Past trip
in Friendly Fowl Farm, South CarolinaQuiet, peaceful site, wonderful hos
Belinda and Troy were so warm and welcoming! I felt right at home tucked away in the corner of their property under the mossy oaks. It was a good location, close to hunting island and not too far from Walmart if I needed anything. They have a beautiful homestead and are eager to share it with others! In the evening, after a long nap, I woke to the hosts by the fire, guitar in hand singing songs. Experiences like this are why I travel. I will be going back!! Highly recommend

I came here for a solo retreat for a long weekend. I am SO HAPPY I did. The camp site itself is glorious and romantic and just what I needed. I really appreciated that I didnāt have to pull out all my camping gear- everything I needed was there. They thought of everything. John and Teresa are very warm, kind, down-to-earth people that I feel I would hang out with, be friends with! Iāve already recommended this sweet spot to all my closest friends. It helps that this area has some sort of magical energy to it. If I could give 10 stars I would! This totally exceeded my expectations and I canāt want to come back.
