We never made it to Tempest Ranch, but it was no fault of Dwayne's. We had mechanical issues with our RV that kept us from camping there. Dwayne offered us a credit for those days if we come back some other time. He didn't have to do that, and we appreciate it.
Past trip
in Sugar Wood Meadow Camping, VermontWe stayed in the back corner of the pasture farthest from the road, so we had great pasture views with the mountains behind them. It was a really beautiful, quiet spot. Our dogs were able to run free and enjoy the property too. It was very quiet at night and the small road that you enter from is not busy. The only caution I'd offer is not to pull into the owner's property if you have a larger RV as you may find it hard to maneuver back out if there are other cars in the circle. Just check ahead with the owner and maybe you can arrange to meet on a portion of his property across the street where it would be easier to turn around. We would definitely stay here again--it's a beautiful part of the country!

Tristan met us when we arrived and escorted us to our site, which was in the back corner of a large field. From our site, there was no road noise at all and we truly felt like we owned the place. The only downside is that our three dogs are spoiled now will never want to stay in a regular RV park again! They never wanted to leave. Neither did we.

in Deep Bend Landing, GeorgiaFriendly hosts, peaceful place
Very friendly hosts who escorted us to our spot when we arrived. Plenty of room to maneuver and park our 32â fifth wheel. Nice setting on the river and plenty of room to wander around.
Charles hasn't gone on any trips yet.
