Lazy Bear Cabin

in Secluded Forest Haven, OregonAmazing secluded tiny house!
This tiny house was one of the better ones I've ever stayed in. It had a lot of great amenities, including a mini split AC / heater to stay comfortable, pour over coffee maker, shower, two loft beds, a grill and seating for 4 outside, and just about everything you'd need! The only thing it didn't have was shampoo / conditioner / body wash so be sure to bring your own.
The road to the tiny house turned to gravel at the end but nothing any 2WD car couldn't handle. There was enough parking for 2-3 cars. I really enjoyed this peaceful spot and as a bonus, it was not far off I-5 so I could continue on my trip. Would definitely stay here again!

This spot was great! I was looking for a campsite that felt isolated but wasn't far from Interstate 80 and this checked both of those boxes! If you're a fan of dispersed camping but couldn't find anything with that nearby, this is the place for you. The site itself was on top of a hilltop with beautiful 360Âș views of the surrounding mountains, the distant town of Crescent Valley, and Ed's property with the biohomes.
Ed was excellent at communicating and we coordinated our ETA with him and he was waiting for us at the gate to his property upon our arrival. You do have to pack it in / pack it out including your own waste, but this wasn't a problem for us. We especially loved seeing the stars and the annular eclipse here. Would stay again!
