What a gem! While this place takes a while to get to (more than an hour on a unpaved road), it was totally worth it. We enjoyed hours of relaxing in a very secluded campsite and playing in the cool and refreshing creek. The hike on the property is an added bonus as was the WiFi in the general store and the ice to purchase. Definitely recommend.

Forest Yurt
in Shanti Permaculture Farm, CaliforniaWe had a lovely weekend at Elizabeth's farm. It was a very cold weekend and since the yurt location does not get a lot of sunlight, we spent our days doing wine tasting in Sebastopol which was lovely. At night, we built a campfire and lounged around the yurt. Bring sleeping bags and warm socks and you should be fine! The camping "amenities" make it a lovely glamping spot and a great weekned getaway. The directions Elizabeth provided were very clear, but be sure to have them handy as there is little cell service along the way.
Past trip
in Victoria Forest, CaliforniaWe had a great weekend at Muirâs Muse! We did the pioneer trail hike and lounged around enjoying the view with our two pups. Be sure to bring your lanterns and headlamps and pack for layers because the weather can range in temps during the fall. Our dogs especially enjoyed the ample room to run around and roll in the dirt. They were so reluctant to leave, as were we.

Site 2 - Farm + Glamp + Breakfast + Bolinas
in Rancho Escapado, CaliforniaWe had a really great stay at Big Mesa. The tents were big enough for four people and very clean and comfortable. We cooked a wonderful meal in the outdoor kitchen (which was fully stocked so don't need to bring any cookware), and even enjoyed the outdoor showers. The location is perfect for hiking/surfing. Would definitely recommend as a glamping spot!
Past trip
in Immen Ranch, CaliforniaWe had a great time staying at Immen Ranch right before the devastating Napa County fires. It was the most beautiful scenery and a quick hike down to Lake Berryessa where we basically had our own private beach. David was super communicative and very helpful. We wish them the very best!

The Shaded Walnut
in Foothill Ridge, CaliforniaWe had a great stay. Ben met us when we arrived and provided detailed directions about the site, the farm, and the area. He also provided firewood and kindling. So nice! We stayed for two nights and did a lot of exploring around the area. There are amazing hikes including a great one off Highway 50 down to an amazing swimming hole at the bottom of the gorge. The site was perfect for a small group. It was well-maintained and we felt very safe while staying there. There is some road noise but nothing that distracts from the farm. Also the farm is beautiful and we were able to harvest a few things for our dinner.
