in Billabong Flats Farm, VictoriaWhen you want to relax...
Great campsite, with a lovely Cedar Tree to hide under in the heat of the day. My wife and I spent several days relaxing and enjoying the country air. Wangaratta is only a few minutes away, which was a bonus for a morning coffee and sit by the river views. Kerryn and John are the perfect hosts, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. As Arnold said... I'll be back!

Sharon and Pete deserve a Gold Medal for the effort they have put into developing this site for visitors. Absolutely magnificent (except I've gotta lift my game at home in the garden now). Stayed a couple of nights en-route to meet friends, wished it was longer - there is large open and quite flat area for Caravan's and RV's (and tents) with a newly built compound with tables, fire put etc. PLUS a seperate beautifully prepared area with camp kitchen facilities, a toilet, fire pit, playground, manicured lawns and garden (see pics). There is also a nice walking track around the camp site via a flat, grassed path. Highly Recommended, we will be back.

Past trip
in Micks Campsite, VictoriaHighly recommended - it's not very often you find such a great place. The site is quite flat, plenty of room, with fire pit and cooking facilities. The ground was covered in lush green grass, that runs all the way down to the river, which is clean, clear and with a small sandy beach. We caught a couple of fish as well. The entrance/departure track maybe a challenge in the wet, but we had no problems with our 22' 6" Caravan and Ford Ranger. Stunning spot. We will be back.

Another fantastic stay at Davidâs magnificent property. This time we stayed at the Creek Front, which is very quiet, private, perfectly flat and secluded. We were about 6 feet from the water, so the ambience was awesome, and that cold beer at 5pm each day tasted even better. Another couple staying on the property weâre great fun, joined them at the fire pit and shared some travel stories, wine and food. Great times!! Only downer (not so
much for us, but for David) were the 6 scumbags who stayed overnight elsewhere and left the place like sh** tip with rubbish everywhere, they hide 3 large rubbish bags that were full, under the old railway line, used toilet paper and everything that goes with that was left there too. Seriously, some people have no respect for others and the environment - what scumbags, a total disgrace. Anyway, 10/10 again for David and Michelleâs beautiful place. We will be back very soon. Andrew.
Past trip
in Rodborough Vale, VictoriaHad 5 days of bliss at Weeping Willows. Camp site is right on the river, could see and hear it from our camp site. Our 3rd visit to Mark's property, but first at Weeping Willows - Highly recommended, can't go wrong here (we will be back). Andrew.

Spent several days at David and Michelle's lovely historic homestead. What an experience, very quiet (other than the local bird life) but peaceful, nice flat ground covered in grass, located next to the river where we had several swims, views were amazing - probably the best farm stay we've ever had. Loved it. David the host was most welcoming and very easy going, happy to help when it was needed, shared lots of the history with us too (even bought us some eggs from the farm chocks who were laying too many). This was our first visit here, but more planned now. Very highly recommended.

Just sept a few relaxing days at Island Bend. Very quiet, and peaceful, nice flat ground covered in grass, located next to the water, and best of all no one else within sight - just perfect. Mark the host is one of life's true gentlemen, this was our second visit (more planned too). Highly recommended.

Andrew hasn't gone on any trips yet.
