Past trip
in Camp wonderland!, CaliforniaThis site is not walking distance to the lake as indicated in the listing. (It would be quite a long walk, and it would be hard to know how to get there without crossing other people's property.)
It would probably be pretty at certain times of yet, but felt harsh and exposed on a hot summer day. We didn't stay. Instead, we went and found a free campsite along the lake.

Lovely spot on a small farm. Jen and Micah were cool and kind and gave us just the right amount of space. Our kids loved meeting the goats and piglets.

Great views but not a lot of privacy. Justin was a kind and welcoming host.

Dennis made us feel comfortable and welcome, and the trails and river are lovely here. We really enjoyed wading in the river with our dog. The bridge that Dennis and his son made was so cool!
The sites all have a lot of privacy. We had our pop up camper with us, which limited our options for sites that we could stay at here, so we were closer to the road than we would like. The tent sites looked really great.
Past trip
in John Z.âs Land, WisconsinJohn was a great host, and this is such a nice property. We had a great stay! Do not miss the outdoor shower.
Past trip
in River to Ridge Farmstead, WisconsinBeautiful spot with lovely views. Great spot for kids and dogs to run around. Susan was out of town when we were there, but she gave us a kind welcome over the phone and said we could pick some veggies from her garden (which the kids loved). It was a great stay.
Andrea hasn't gone on any trips yet.
Hipcamp Hosts can leave an optional review of their Hipcampers after the trip is completed. This is where those reviews from Hipcamp Hosts will appear.
