Firefly Field on Swanson's Farm
in Swanson's Farm, Rhode IslandPrivate site with pluses.
Lovely camping experience which is private with nice pluses: camping toilet, outdoor sink, and some string lights. The field space is large for a single site and the location is surrounded by nature preserve. We heard an owl hooting in the evenings while by the fire. Priceless.

Past trip
in Humble Farm with Simplicity, ConnecticutSummer serenity at the horse farm
Mary and Victor were very sweet and gracious hosts. We had a good time - 4 adults, 4 kiddos - camping at the back of the property in the Old Horse Trailer and the Tent Sites. Mary let us pull in our own 19' travel trailer, shared stories with the horses and chickens, provided fresh eggs and firewood. The sites are very peaceful, private, with an available well water spigot. No shore power, but we didn't miss it for a couple of days. Lovely experience.

(Dispersed site)
This place was amazing. Dean and Darlene are excellent friendly and knowledgeable hosts that really get the vibe and allure of the area. We had a wonderful time with our two boys making this our homebase for a few days as we explored the area. Stunning views, interesting backstory, well spaced camping sites.

Past trip
in Salamander Hollow Healing Habitat, MassachusettsSalamander Hollow was a real sanctuary for our two families. We came from quite a distance and had high expectations. They were met with a little extra on top. Mary made an extra effort to make thoughtful touches and suggestions for family and kiddo activities. Great communication and flexibility a huge plus. Asante sana!

in Joanne G.âs Land, North CarolinaPicturesque site convenience
This site at Bell Lakes was great. There is only one site open at this time right by the pond/lake. It's a lovely spot with a cool breeze and rustic fire pit (including some wooden chairs and benches). Power and water hook ups are accessible if needed. Very easy to get in and out (no backing in necessary). Various shaded spots to choose from. Always an orchestra of amphibians and anthropods in the evenings!
