Stonehenge is a wide open space surrounded by apple trees, cherry trees and plum trees. It has a beautiful view of the Shawangunk Mountain Ridge. This is a beautiful site to set up your tent and watch the sunset and if you're lucky, you may see a plane or two take off and land from our runway. In the distance you can watch parachuters floating down from the sky from the nearby Sky Dive The Ranch. You have access to a fire pit, applewood (sold in bundles at our farm market), and a picnic table. As we are a working farm, you can see us driving pass with our tractors or maintaining the orchard around your campsite on occasion. You are welcome to ride your bikes, hike or jog where you will pass ponds and a working farm landscape. Please don’t pick our fruit. If you would like to enjoy the fruits of our labor please visit our farm store open year round on the premises where we sell cheeses, our fresh picked fruit and veggies, local meats, and our famous cider donuts along with other farm products. We also have a farm brewery open 3-7 in our old dairy barn for you to enjoy. Live music Saturdays and Sundays. Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Reserve are only 10 minutes away. The rail trail is three minutes away. This trail gives you walking and biking access into New Paltz, where there is tons of restaurants and lots of shopping. Please be aware that during the months of September and October there may be a Pick-Your-Own customer or two walking around picking apples around the campsite area between the hours of 10:00-6:00. You are also welcome to come down to the farm market and purchase bags to pick your own apples in season.

This site is absolutely magical and beautiful. It’s located in the back of Wright’s Farm market, in a wide open space across from their apple orchards. It feels almost like a privilege to camp here. There are wide open fields in every direction and clouds as far as the eye can see. My jaw dropped when I saw two sky divers jump from a plane right after the sun set. They were specks in the sky, but I watched as they floated down to earth, safe and sound.

Things to be conscious of: Being in a wide open field, things can get a little bright. Bring a canopy if direct sun all day long bothers you (I prefer shade, myself.) Also, the port-a-potty is a bit of a walk. You can easily drive there, but it can be a hassle every time you need to go.

Honestly these things are easily overlooked, and I plan on coming back :)

Our little family of four had a wonderful time at the Wright Farm Stonehenge campsite. Everyone on the farm was extremely friendly and helpful. Our boys had so much fun counting sky divers from the distance. Being able to see them from the camp site was very unique entertainment for the family.

Great site, but a loud rave was going on from 7pm - 3am. Limited shade and water options. However, the staff was friendly and let us use their hoses and kitchen for water and trash disposal. Super dog friendly.

We were greeted by very friendly hosts. The market has all the supplies you could need, food and firewood. The site had picnic tables and a fire ring that were perfect. We watched sky divers above as we set up camp. The hosts brought us a bucket of water in case we should need it. We had the most perfect evening to camp out: warm weather, clear skies to see the milk way and shooting stars, and the sounds of apples dropping through the night. We cannot wait to return to this fortuitous find, a little slice of perfect!

This was our second stay at this site, we love the location. We have had deer sleep next to us both times, kind of feels like your in fairy tail. The farmers market is great, watching skydivers at sunset is a treat, very close to town but far enough away, and the most beautiful hikes are just a half hour away.

Customary photo with the Stonehenge. Our pup's first camping trip and he loved camping 🏕️.

Loved the site, the views of the Shawangunks, and watching the groups of skydivers was wonderful. We had perfect weather, and really beautiful time.

Bring a canopy for shade when you need to get out of the sun. My only request would be for a little more grass area to be mowed shorter.
