***Pool is temorarily unavailable. Enjoy our backyard guest house overlooking 10+ acres of beautiful rolling grassland with roaming goats, chickens, deer and other wildlife. Roast marshmallows or drink your favorite beverage by the fire pit. Large 20x40 foot above ground pool is a delight in warm weather. Property owners reside in main house and look forward to sharing their sanctuary with you. Plenty of room to take long walks or just sit, relax and enjoy the views and animals. Snacks and bottled water available in cabin. Also, fresh farm eggs and milk in cabin when animals are producing. Upon request and with at least a 1 week advance 2 night booking, property owners will cook you a wood fired oven pizza (weather permitting). There are lots of activities in the area including: horseback riding, biking, hiking, museums, shopping, camel farm, elephant sanctuary and more! This property has been our residence for over 18 years. We have trained many horses and herding dogs on this property. Conducted training clinics and lots of lessons here! Over the years we have also raised horses, sheep and goats and even show cattle here. As life long ranchers we have often used this property to rotate livestock to and from our larger properties. Gardening now takes much of our time and we love to make much of what we consume or need. We are also avid fisherman and enjoy hunting and various crafts. We look forward to hosting you!

Juanea’s the best host! My daughter enjoyed the pool and all the animals. Juanea was kind enough to offer us fresh vegetables for a delicious, nutritious stir fry dinner for our stay.

I enjoyed the seclusive location. Gate opener to entrance was a bonus. The sky here was great. I did not use but available was a fire pit. Enjoyed sitting outside stargazing. Bandera is close if needed.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Everything was amazing - Juanea and her husband were wonderful hosts and the cabin was cozy and equiped with everything we might need (and much more). We appreciated fresh eggs and vegetable from the garden and our son was super excited from playing around the cabin, feeding the animals and exploring everything on the farm. Highly recommended!

I stayed here for a quick weekend trip with my daughter and were treated to a LOT of hospitality by the hosts: we were shown around the property, offered fresh. goat milk & eggs, and my toddler got the opportunity to run around playing with the animals. It was a really, really nice trip!

Juanea and her husband Terry are incredible hosts!!!! We arrived with a bonfire and marshmellows to roast to welcome us. The guest house is roomy with 4beds a full kitchen and shower. Our little kids enjoyed the goats, chickens, and geese and had plenty of space to run around. We were spoiled with home made muffins, goats milk and chicken eggs. We really enjoyed the home made pizza too! Texas hospitality at its best!!
