Our property is a 100 acre tree farm, with a beautiful & serene pond. Explore the hiking trails or make your own! Hang a hammock across the creek and listen to gentle bubbling sounds while reading your favorite book. Cast a line in the pond stocked with Largemouth Bass and Crappy in the Fall of 2023. (ONLY-Catch and release fishing is allowed.) Enjoy the Community 8 ft firepit to cook or hangout by. Stargaze on clear nights, the Milky Way can be seen along with many constellations! Download a stargazing app, and explore the night sky! If the fireflies are out and about you will be treated to a glorious glittering display in the trees.

We planned a hunting trip and the Friendly Beasts Farm Barn Loft was a perfect choice. Spacious,clean, cookware, spices all the toiletries everything you needed for a quiet getaway,just show up with food and cloths and enjoy. The sunsets from the back deck to all the star gazing,it was truly the perfect choice. Frances and Matthew were wonderful hosts,very attentive with all our needs. Our next hunting trip I hope the Barn Loft is available.

Weekend Trip to Laurel Rock LLC # 2
What a sweet couple and adorable area they are creating! There is a hotdog stand, with an outdoor patio, where you pick up your key. Then, you climb a gravel hill to your place. We had Cabin #1 which was decorated with cactuses. It was warm and cozy with lots of space inside. We got settled in nicely and ventured off to Tygart Lake State Park. Thank You for a nice welcome and a cute place to stay for the night.

Weekend Trip to Nanny’s Rustic Retreat
Donnie's property is truly an unexpected little slice of heaven. From the property and amenities, to the welcomed animal interruptions during our detailed tour at the courtesy of Donnie...this place is truly something special.
Although during our stay we were doing what some would classify as "glamping"; the amount of amenities and relaxing feeling they create makes it feel more like a country resort.
We will definitely be back!

2 nights at Creekside Haven at the Farm
This was a perfect peaceful getaway! We only stayed for two nights but will definitely be back! Donald provides so much making it as stress free as possible! We really enjoyed the sound of the creek at all times and the hot showers! The yurt is beautiful and comfortable and the bathhouse was insanely clean and convenient! 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting some time in the woods! Donald was very responsive, I was able to message him when needed through the app!

Donnie was amazing, so accommodating, kind soul. The amenities were way better than I expected them to be. What an incredible value for the price. Wonderful privacy. Beautiful views. The hot tub was phenomenal. The bathrooms and showers are awesome. There's a refrigerator and microwave in the common space. Took my mom here for a getaway and we will definitely be coming back.

Weekend Trip to Creekside Haven at the Farm
We loved it. Didn't pull in the first night until after 9:30, so having everything set up already was awesome. We did not end up using the hot tub, but the hot shower was AMAZING! Everything we could have wanted was there. We used the site as a base camp to visit Ohiopyle, PA and Cooper's Rock WV. Both were within a half hour of camp.

This was the cutest little hidden gem we've found so far! They thought of everything you need to escape to nature.. even an outdoor "heated tub"! Which in this 90° + degree weather, was quite amazing as a cold plunge!!
Beds were so comfortable as well! Loved hearing the birds and bugs, and stream Which was only a few feet away from a covered porch!
The outdoor restroom/shower house was well designed and beautifully cleaned.

My husband and I were looking for a private romantic getaway in nature and that’s exactly what we got. This place is a complete gem. We only stayed for the weekend. I would’ve rather stayed a week. I cannot wait to go back!!!
Donald thought of everything to make your camping trip enjoyable. There was even bug spray in the tent. There were horses and goats and beautiful trails to hike a calming babbling creek. Everything you could want!!

Weekend Trip to Wolfhaven Tree Farm-Secluded
We needed a short weekend to recharge and reconnect - while we love camping and backpacking, for this trip we wanted a little extra comfort for sleeping arrangements. The Wolfhaven yurt and pond were a perfect match for what we were looking for, and we feel lucky to have been able to book last minute. The yurt is very cozy and inviting, with some lovely glamping extras (i.e., real bed, Keurig coffee maker, some lighting if wanted) without taking away from the desire to disconnect from tech/work etc. The portion of the property for guest enjoyment is fairly spacious, with an open sky view but surrounded by gorgeous trees, and of course the small pond. My husband enjoyed catching a couple of bass during our stay. We camp-fired, cloud-watched and star-gazed and enjoyed being together in this beautiful place. We fell asleep at night listening to the bullfrogs and tree frogs.
A tip: if you're planning to stay a few days, give some thought to meal planning in light of no refrigeration or cooking appliances other than the campfire. There are nearby places to resupply for fresh food, but a well-stocked cooler with ice was very handy for our warmer weather trip. We brought a cast-iron griddle and some camping utensils to use over the fire, which we were glad of!
Amber, our hostess, was communicative and helpful before and during our stay (while also giving us our space and privacy). We are hoping to come back, with and/or without our children, for another stay in the future!

Weekend Trip to Creekside Haven at the Farm
We loved how peaceful and private this place was. The creek right outside the tent was heavenly, along with the deck and chairs that look out on it. It was wonderful having an outdoor shower and the fire warmed soaking tub. The other tent was a good distance and some trees away so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. It exceeded all our expectations for a tent camping experience and having the modern comforts of a bed and electricity. I'd highly recommend this place if you wanted a nature camping experience but glamping style. I enjoyed the charm of the goats and working farm as well.
