Choose from five ready-to-go campsites, excluding tent, with everything you need for a relaxing stay: wagon for transporting belongings, sturdy picnic tables, park-style BBQ grills, fire ring, and cozy hammocks perfect for stargazing or simply unwinding. For the more adventurous spirit, take your own tent and venture up the mountain for a backcountry camping experience, surrounded by wildlife. Whether you're lounging by the river or hiking through the woods, the property is teeming with wildlife and offers incredible photo opportunities. Our location across the West Fork River gives you the chance to kayak, canoe, or tube by simply taking a peaceful stroll or bike ride along the nearby Rail Trail that follows the river for miles. With diverse landscapes, refreshing waters, and endless wildlife, every corner of the property offers something special. I had an amazing time. Just me and my 2 dogs. We were the only ones there and it was so peaceful. Everything was really clean and he already had wood chopped up in an assortment of sizes. The next morning he brought me a cup of coffee and dry firewood along with offering to start it. While he started the fire, we chatted for a bit. I really appreciated his story and the kindness. We walked on the rail trail after hearing about the coal mining back there. The doggos loved it. I come to WV every year, this year had been exceptionally rough. But going alone for the first time and having it be an amazing experience, just what my soul needed. I will absolutely be coming back next year and can’t wait to see all the upgrades he has planned (:

This is a great camping spot on a beautiful piece of property right next to the bike trail. First time camping in a Safari tent and had a wonderful experience. Host was very accommodating and friendly and helped with building a fire. Looking forward to visiting in the future to see how much has been added.
