City of Springfield is less than three miles away. A Sheets and Loves Truckstop are 300 yards away with the Loves having a dump station. Next door to this property is a BP Station and Carryout. The Loves Truckstop has a Wendys, Subway, and dog park. Sheets also has a food court. All within walking distance.
Great location as Columbus is 30 min to the east, Dayton is 25 min to the west. 13 min to I 675 and 20 min to Interstate 75 N/S. I 71 N/S Columbus is 35 min away in downtown Columbus...
NOTE: Little over a quarter of a mile off of Interstate 70, and on a State Route, If looking for absolute silence and desolation, this is not for you. Back off of the road but all the sounds carry.....

Croaky Oak Clearing of Good Knights Reserve is located in Ohio and a 25-30 minute drive to Dublin. You'll have nothing but peace and privacy on the back 15 acres of the property. A 1/2 mile drivable path will take you to the one site offered. Here you can pitch your tent, build a campfire, catch and release a few fish from the pond, or choose to sit on the floating dock with your feet in the water. There are also a few short trails to meander through. The camp site sits next to a large wetland in cooperation with ODNR, Division of Wildlife so you'll hear the sound of croaking frogs and various other creatures communicating back and forth. A clean porta-john is close by and a small charcoal grill and picnic table with seating for 8 is available. Reservoirs, golf courses, several quaint bakeries and boutiques are close by for additional entertainment. Route 33 is easily accessible.

Rocky Run Creek is a tributary to Seven Mile Creek in Preble County, OH
Small creek near residential area. Choice of wide open spaces, partial or full shade spots available. Short walking trail along the creek line is maintained. 'Rocky Cross' Geocach nearby. Please be aware that if we have had a lot of rain, the creek side spots may be too wet and difficult to get back up the hill with the wet grass. If this is the case, we do have the gravel barn driveway that can accommodate your stay. During peak busy season, the barn drive may have additional guests due to site, weather or general camping conditions. The barn drive offers a view of the creek area about 100 feet away and is about 175 feet from the patio common area. WiFi covering the entire camp and all cellular carriers work great here. 30 Amp electrical in many spots. White tank water fill is available in select locations. Plenty of room for tow vehicle at your camp site.

If traveling here from the South (only on Ohio State Route 127), please note the height restrictions on three roads that connect SR 127 with the parallel Wayne Trace Road. The names of the roads to avoid:
Consolidated (Height restriction 9' 9" under the railroad)
Brower (Height restriction 10' 0" over Seven Mile Creek)
7 Mile Road (Height restriction 10' 6" and very sharp turn to bridge)
Please watch what route electronic devices may may pick avoiding these routes.
A suggested route from traveling North on State Route 127 to Camp Rocky Run is to turn in Camden, OH on State Route 725 and head East to Wayne Trace Road.
!! NOTE on RV types !! You must have a self contained RV with on board restroom facilities. We have no restroom facilities available. For this reason, we do not offer tent camping.
!! NOTE on camp fire location !! The fire ring provided on the shared creek side patio is the only spot a camp fire, of any kind, can be built. (Sorry, but we have had too many damaged spots in the grass from the use of 'portable' fire ring units.)
!! NOTE on Class A RVs with towed vehicle !!
If it is too wet to access the creek side spots, we can still accommodate your stay in the nearby barn driveway but if you are unable to back up with the 'toad' then a detach will be required. Again, this is only if it is too wet to access the creek side camp spots. Generally we will be able to help you back in, but at times we may be away and suggest a helper in guiding you into the barn drive. Note, the barn driveway is not a pull through site.

Was a beautiful site. Dogs and kids loved it.Nice stream and very well kept. A train did go through in the distance a few times that night and highway noise is close,but it is well worth it for the view and location. We got to see a large flock of ducks a few times in the morning, they passed by in the creek. Was a good stay and a beautiful view. Would definitely go back if in the area.

Deb and her husband were such wonderful, accommodating hosts! We arrived late after a long drive to their home, and they helped us get hooked up to power and water. Their property is beautiful and felt very private from both their home and their neighbors’. The location is the perfect taste of country while still being very convenient to Columbus and the amenities of town.

This was my second time camping there with my 17 foot expandable. Plenty of room to park. It's a cool place to fish and hang out for the evening., it's only about 30 minutes from home for me, so it makes a nice little get away spot to go catch some fish and relax a little. Allen keeps the place up nice. If you like to fish, you won't be disappointed!

We showed up on a VERY rainy weekend, but other than setting up in the rain the site was exactly as explained. Clean, mostly quiet (a little noise from the road and farm nearby, but not bad). Nice gravel site that is almost completely level and a 30A hookup. Not much really close, but Sam's Place had great cheap bar food and beer. We walked to the pond, but due to the weather didn't spend too much time there. Exactly as advertised! Thank You!

we are cycling across the usa and arrived at Glen’s beautiful property - the pond, the happy criollo cattle, the easy access to electrical and water hookups for our support RV. communication was clear, we were aware of the no toilet situation (apparently others aren’t aware of “no dump” here, understood as it is a pristine farm!). the quiet was much appreciated after a few campsites near train tracks and freeways.
additionally the farm stand just up the road provided fresh eggs and after a text
exchange, melissa baked us two loaves of banana bread and a sourdough loaf that we picked up in the morning.
definitely, day 13 became a highlight of our 64 day adventure.

What a wonderful and peaceful little spot on the crick! Curtis and Michelle are awesome hosts and made us feel like family. We had everything we needed easily accessible, and felt they would help with anything we may have needed. But also felt like we were the only people at camp. Very enjoyable! Will be back for sure. Very nice and cute spot. Allen was a great host and very accommodating. The pond was beautiful and fish were hungry. Power is as advertised (lower than 30a) but we were just diligent with our usage so no issues. Loved the christmas trees and property overall.

We love to stay at the ranch and visit with Glen, sarah and the cattle. We have been tree times and plan to make this our regular go to for camping.
The view is spectacular, the property is emaculate, the owners are a delight and the peacefulness us abundant.
We love the extra perk to buy the delicious organic grass-fed beef raised there.
Then there is the nearby town of yellow springs with its quaint town with an artsy and trendy vibe, and adventurous and beautifal hiking trails.
You must visit. You will be hooked!

Top notch Hipcamp experience. All of the arrival instructions were extremely well documented, touched base with the host, and they were absolutely fantastic and accommodating. The space is beautiful, and serene. This was our first time here, but I’m sure that all four seasons have something really special to offer.
We would absolutely recommend this to anyone. Plenty of space to stretch out.

Enjoyable stay. Deb moved us to back area between 2 garage area because storms were moving in. Their yard looked like a lake next morning. Grove city has cute downtown with shops n restaurants. Would stay again! Easy to find and communications were prompt and helpful
