We are on a solar powered, off the grid 30 acre homestead that has 24 acres of wooded land and 6 acres of groomed land. Come explore our land and relax in the "Tree Web", see the 2 story tree house that I live in, have fun on the tire swing, or just sit and enjoy all that nature has to offer. You can explore our interesting topography that has close to 100 foot of elevation changes, our (mostly) dry creek system that starts with 2 springs that drain into 3 sinkholes or walk 3 miles of trails (if you follow each trail from end to end).
We love groups - Host your event here or have a group gathering with all your friends and family. We have spaces large enough to host hundreds of people.
We welcome pets for camping, but no pets allow in the Camping Cabin. Also be aware that we have 2 friendly dogs on the land that roam freely.

Across the river from McCormick's Creek State Park (Indiana's first state park with miles of trails, a swimming pool, and lodge). Only 20 minutes from Bloomington and Indiana University; 45 minutes from Indianapolis Int'l Airport. This is a working farm with lots of livestock, electric fences, and working dogs, so please leave the farm animals alone unless someone from the farm is available and present. Dogs must be on a leash in the camping area, given the above features of a working livestock farm, the quarry ruins, the operative railroad tracks, and the river (not suitable for swimming), family friendly (children under the age of 18 must be attended by adults at all times).
*We have lots of on-farm food and supplies options, please contact us for a complete list and any requests. All sites have a private stone fire circle as well as access to a common grill, handwashing station, porta potty or septic outhouse, cold/solar water shower.

The farm is located 15 minutes west of Indiana Universities Memorial Stadium. The property is nice and private. The farm adjoins the 75 acre Stranger Hills Organic farm, the oldest organic farm in Indiana. Our 1899 Farmhouse is the only residence on the entire farm. There is a 3000 acre farm to our south. The area is quiet and very private. The campsites are in a grassy walnut grove by a small creek that runs along the eastern border of the property. We have a white deer creek cabin tent on a platform there and 3 or 4 nice level campsites to the north. There are 3 RV sites at the top of a small hill with 30 amp service. We can accommodate a large RV on packed gravel with 50 amp service. the farm is located 15 minutes east of McCormicks Creek State Park. There is a composting toilet and an on demand hot shower in a small building adjacent to the campsites. There is a YMCA about five minutes East of the property. We now have a no dog policy. I haven’t been able to change it on the site.

Weekend Trip to Cabins at Guthrie Meadows
Absolutely perfect! Would love to stay here again. Some of our favorite amenities were the AC (and there's a heater available for when it's cold, but we didn't use it), the mini fridge, and the hot shower (the blue door cabin is the closest in walking distance to the showers). Each site has its own outhouse, and there was enough distance and trees between us and the next cabin to feel private for sure. What especially made this trip so special for us was the animals - waking up to see alpacas and horses, frogs, and a giant leopard moth! There's great hiking on site with geodes to admire (and important to leave them alone).

Jonathan’s set up at the apple orchard was perfect for a 2 night stop by Indianapolis. The carport, trees, and beautiful scenery was a nice point to break up our trip home. The spot offered an easy trip into the city for the day but allowed us to be outside the hustle of a big city. Jonathan was an amazing host and I would recommend this spot to anyone looking!

I loved camping on Dwight's land. Very clean place, and quiet for our whole 4 night stay. Dwight was very helpful when you needed help or questions answered. Went fishing at night. Didn't catch anything but with the moon, stars, frogs and everything nature had to offer, it was still enjoyable. Very delighted with the place as a whole, especially with it being our first time out in a camper. Would camp there again.

We stayed at Happy Hollow Homestead this past weekend for my birthday, and even though it poured rain almost the entire time and parts of the property were flooded, it was honestly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed.
We ended up being the only campers there, which I’m sure had everything to do with the weather, but it made for such a peaceful reset. The trees were absolutely beautiful, the property was well cared for, and one thing I really noticed was how clean everything was. There wasn’t trash laying around anywhere. You could tell the owner really loves this place.
Kerry was an amazing host. Before we even arrived, he kept us updated about the weather, the flooding, and what to expect. We got there really late because of the storms, and he was so gracious that he gave us a free night because of the rain and our late arrival. That was completely unexpected and so appreciated.
He also took the time to give us a tour of the property and showed us the different spaces he’s working on. It was exciting hearing his vision for Happy Hollow. You can tell he’s putting his heart into making it something special.
Honestly, I knew it was going to rain before we came, so the weather wasn’t anyone’s fault. Sometimes you just have to embrace what Mother Nature gives you. For me, the experience was still 100% worth it.
I’m so glad I found the Hipcamp app because I probably never would have discovered this little hidden gem otherwise. We’ll definitely be back,

We loved staying at the pole-barn suite on Dave's land. They provided more than we expected (bedding, utensils, camp chairs). It was very tidy and well presented. It was so nice to know we had a dry place to come in out of the ever present rain on our anniversary kayak trip.

Easy to find and a beautiful setting. You are close to the other RV site, but it was not an issue. Very friendly and perfect setting if you want to go see the horses, cows and chickens.

Host was very flexible and good communicator. Site was clean and functional, easy to get to, nice sitting area. Only complaint is we could not find the indoor restrooms anywhere; it was dark and there were no signs, and it was too late to reach out to the host. We used the outhouse but I’m sure the restrooms are nice if you can locate them!

We had a great overnight stay. The campground was nice and quiet, which made for a relaxing stop. We really enjoyed walking around the pond, and waking up to the crowing of a rooster was a fun touch that added to the charm of the place. We’d definitely stay here again.

We loved tent camping on Jonathan’s land. He was an awesome host. Very nice and welcoming. We enjoyed ourself so much that we booked an extra night. The sunsets were beautiful and the mornings were peaceful. We will definitely be back and look forward to exploring more of the beautiful property.

Weekend Trip to Celtic Glen Farm Stay
The small cabin was a great option for our quick weekend getaway from Indy. We brought our bikes and spent Saturday cycling, with lots of (Hilly) rural roads in the region. Sunday morning we signed up for the Summer Solstice outdoor yoga class in the henge. The local eggs and bread were wonderful additions to our weekend camp meals.
