We have sheep, pigs and a donkey rotating through pastures behind electric fencing. Take a walk to say hello, but don't touch the fence! We also have 3 very friendly farm cats.
Pork and lamb from our farm (as well as kiln-dried firewood) is available for purchase at our farm store.

We mow regularly and our rooster and chicken ladies wander far and wide eating bugs but, in the summer, they can't get every mosquito and tick so please plan accordingly for your own comfort.

There is plenty of backyard space to toss a football or play cornhole.

There is parking for two cars on the side entrance to the house. Guests have access to the private yard inside the fence and access to the basement through a separate entrance down below the deck.
Other things to note
We have three young children (Ages 4, 6, and 8) that you may see outside or hear upstairs walking around. They are typically up by 7 am and in bed by 8 pm but are gone most of the day at school (unless it’s summer) and play outside often. We also have one black cat named Smokey who is very friendly and loves to socialize. If you’re not a fan of kids or pets then this may not be the space for you.
Nightly rates vary based on specific dates. Weekends are priced higher. Discounts are automatically available closer to the arrival date.
Single-night stays are automatically made available when those are the only remaining nights. Otherwise, a two-night minimum is required.

Each guest will have access to private parking area and wooded walkway, dome, deck area, fire pit, barbeque grill, hammock, and 3-acre pasture with pond.

We have sheep, pigs and a donkey rotating through pastures behind electric fencing. Take a walk to say hello, but don't touch the fence! We also have 3 very friendly farm cats.
Pork and lamb from our farm (as well as kiln-dried firewood) is available for purchase at our farm store.

We have three young children (Ages 4, 6, and 8) that you may see outside or hear upstairs walking around. They are typically up by 7 am and in bed by 8 pm but are gone most of the day at school (unless it’s summer) and play outside often. We also have one black cat named Smokey who is very friendly and loves to socialize. If you’re not a fan of kids or pets then this may not be the space for you.
Nightly rates vary based on specific dates. Weekends are priced higher. Discounts are automatically available closer to the arrival date.

The travel trailer was spacious and comfortable. It is parked next to a driveway. So, expect family and neighborhood activity during your stay. The nearby stream was a great place to chill and relax. Trails and parks are nearby as well as a quick drive to Starbucks. My only complaint is that the Hipcamp listing needs updated. Check-is at 3pm (not 1pm) The hosts were super friendly, helpful, and generous.

Weekend Trip to Container Experience
As far as glamping goes, this is as nice as it gets. It felt more like an Airbnb, with the whole container being painted, decorated, and inclusive of bedding and towels. I had always wondered what it was like to stay in a converted shipping container and it felt very normal, and maybe a step up from a cabin. It's a good spot for a sleep and shower for a day or two, especially if you're looking to visit things in the local area. You'll hear the road a bit and dogs when people bring them, but it really is a good value. The bathroom has the light and fan on the same switch and the fan gets pretty loud. The water pressure is high, and you'll want to bring toiletries, but you get a hand towel, wash clothes and towels. Like others mentioned, the bed is really comfortable.

I slept in the little Tobacco barn shelter. It was lovely. Being outside with none of the hassles of setting up camp! Rebecca is lovely and her food is delicious!

My family and I had a great experience at Sugarneck. Our dogs especially loved exploring the grounds. The tents are the perfect compromise between an authentic camping experience and modern conveniences. We will definitely be planning a return visit.

Weekend Trip to SXPHW Country Club Camping & Events
Beautiful spot! This was our first time in the area, and we stayed overnight in the cabin. We loved it—if you’re looking for a peaceful, serene place to relax, this is it. The cabin has a simple aesthetic, very comfortable, and has gorgeous views of the property. Wes was a great host and immediately responded to anything we needed. We wish we could have stayed longer, but will definitely be back again soon!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this glamping site and couldn't have asked for a better experience! The space was incredibly clean and cosy, offering the perfect blend of comfort and nature that our dogs thoroughly enjoyed exploring. One of the highlights was definitely the company of the friendly resident cats, who made the atmosphere feel even more welcoming. The amenities were top-notch, but what really set this place apart was the flexibility; being able to add guests allowed me to host a birthday brunch for my girlfriend that turned out perfectly. With 10/10 weather and a 10/10 location, it was a flawless getaway that we won't soon forget.

Weekend Trip to JE Eutopia
I had an amazing stay here and would absolutely come back. This glamping cabin truly had everything you could need for a comfortable getaway generator, fan, lighting, heated blankets, a camp stove, and a great fire pit for relaxing in the evenings. One of my favorite touches was the lovely private bathroom, which made the whole experience feel like the perfect mix of camping and comfort.
As a single woman traveling alone, I also want to mention that I felt very safe and comfortable in the space the entire time, which made the weekend even more relaxing.
The location was perfect. It’s about 30 minutes from Durham, where I went to a comedy show Friday night, and close to beautiful hiking at Eno River State Park on Saturday. It ended up being exactly the peaceful getaway I needed.
It was a beautiful March weekend, and this spot was the perfect place to unplug, enjoy nature, and recharge. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing glamping escape. 🌿🔥🥾

The property was so expansive and the Hunter trail was interesting with a little cemetery. Rode mountain bikes close by and visited Lillington and the Cape Fear River. Alicia provided us with extra heaters and lots of blankets since the weather was so chilly

Overall good, best if you can manage cold during winters. Carry some space heaters although they provide some. No activities in winter so plan for some.

This was my second time at Holly Forest- stayed in two different units and had a great experience both times. Jim and Becky are so welcoming and attentive to details. Even on a cold December night we were warm in The Lodge with the heated mattress pad. Thanks for having us!

This place is really unique and cute, five stars for creativity.
The good: it’s cool. The bed is super comfy. Hot water and a flush toilet is always a plus.
The meh: it’s a little leaky. The paper coffee cup had been used. Some ants. All things for me are understandable.
All in all ide love to stay again and would recommend this place. Great vibe. Without rain it would have been amazing.

We stayed at this cabin at Holly Forest for a few nights over thanksgiving. The cabin held our little family (2 adults 2 young kids) well on the loft bed and the pull-out couch. The grounds are beautiful and we had a ton of fun at the basketball court and the field next to it. We cooked food in the provided toaster oven/air fryer but could have easily used the common area equipment too (grill, griddle pan, pizza oven). Hosts were responsive to our needs. Bathrooms were clean and close to our cabin. We would come back!
