This Property was purchased by Grandfather in the 70s and then was passed to my Mother. In 2013 I decided to live life differently and start from the ground up building with natural materials and found materials. At that time I was fortunate enough to have the land passed to me and I started building a home for myself and to be close to my mothers home nearby. A beautiful small farm where we homestead. We have a large garden, including raised beds, and raise everything organically. No pesticides. We raise miniature horses, miniature Highland and Highland cross cattle, Kune Kune and Kune Kune cross pigs, as well as chickens and geese. We have a lovely 1+ acre pond in front of the main house, which is fully stocked with Brim, Channel Catfish and Largemouth Bass. This pond has a wonderful ecosystem and is home to Kingfishers, wood ducks, Storks, herons, egrets, and is a place where a nesting pair of Bald Eagles come for water, and an occasional fish. We have an in-ground swimming pool, and a paddle boat to take out on the pond.
Whether you are looking for a quiet weekend get away, or a chance to experience farm life on a small homestead, this place has a lot to offer.
We offer a canning class, making artisan bread, and a hayride (tractor pulled) around the property. Breakfast and lunch or breakfast and Dinner can be included in the stay at an additional charge.
We have 2 large horses that can be fed carrots, loved on, petted, and the possibility of some riding.
Gathering eggs, feeding the hens and pigs, playing with Titan the farm mascot (our Great Dane dog), or just relaxing around the pool, or around a fire pit, there is always something happening on our little farm.
The lady of the house has her Serv Safe certification for preparing and serving food and has been a home chef for parties and catering for several years.

This is one of the most beautiful spaces I have visited. The home was spacious, clean, and modern while still being cozy. Thoughtful amenities. The furniture was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the lounge chairs in the water while taking in the Sounds of Nature. We chose to visit the goats who ran up to us with the most innocent nature, they were adorable! The hammocks were so comfy .I left with more space in my heart than when I arrived.

Damon was a nice host that offered assistance when needed. I stayed in the Creek Campsite and it was a joy! The property is beautiful and he has a web that was nice to sit on and look at the stars. Easy to navigate in and out of the site (even with a little sedan). Only stayed for one night, but it just so happened to be a night full of music and a light show.

It is so tempting to keep this five star find to myself, but Jessie deserves all the praise for this adorable, safe, comfortable spot! With gorgeous sunrises over the pond and sweetly appointed digs comes friendly animals and a homestead vibe. She has thought of everything and it's all immaculately kept. You are centrally located to all of Augusta and Aiken (I grew up here, I know!) but you feel like you're in a remote woodsy location. We will be back!

We loved our trip. The hosts went above and beyond to have us have a comfortable stay. I have two toddlers, and it rained a majority of our trip, but would you believe that they set up a busy box for our toddlers so that they could have activities to do inside the camper?? So generous.
The bed was comfortable, the hot water was piping hot, the string lights were perfect. We really had no complaints. It was very quiet and relaxing! We had a great time. Highly recommend. We will be back!!!!

•There were a few little gnats/bugs in the bathroom but that didn’t bother us
•I had read about their spring-fed pond and the possibility for swimming and kayaking, sadly, their kayaks don’t exist anymore due to Helene and I don’t really recommend swimming in the pond—it was very muddy and warm (we tried) If there is some way they could make the pond nicer, it could be a big perk

Weekend Trip to Small Stuff Farm
This has to be the best property offered on Hipcamp. I have rented places through Hipcamp as well as other apps, and this is the best property and best experience yet. The hosts Loretta and Erik could not be more kind and welcoming. They live onsite, and will give you space and privacy when you want it…but will also quickly make you feel like an Important part of the household.
The property is first class.
You can meet the farm animals and experience farm life as much as you’d like.
Yet you can also lounge by the pool and swim, and feel like you’re at a 5-star resort.
Very unique.
Also check out the large pond for wildlife viewing and a paddle boat ride if you’d like.
The bedroom and private bathroom is really comfortable and they have every amenity you can think of.
And be sure to include Loretta’s home cooked meals when making your reservation.
They are delicious, made with ingredients straight from the farm you are staying on, and the fellowship with new friends is the best.
Your best bet is to arrive for check-in, and not leave the property until it’s time for check-out.
You will love every moment.
