We have an absolutely gorgeous 12 acres of mostly wooded and/or lakefront land on the West end of Lake Murray (Saluda River). Me, my wife, and three kids live and work on a 20 acre forest nestled in the backwaters of Lake Murray. Behind Prices Bridge, we have what nature lovers refer to "OH MY GAWD"... Our land forms a peninsula, which is very private, secluded, and SAFE. If you want to refresh, recharge or spend quality time with family or friends, we'd love to host you. *Prices Bridge being a low bridge also means if you bring a large boat you may need to use the marina or any of the free boat launches within a mile of our site... kayaks, canoes, john boats all fit under. :-)

Camp Hope at Hope for Hooves Rescue

We are a working equine and small animal rescue farm. You will walk out the front door with ponies grazing as your view. You can also look out the kitchen window while making your coffee and watch the horses graze. If you are interested we have farm tours and horse grooming opportunities available. These are extra so be sure to let us know in advance if you are interested. We do have a fire pit on the property that you are welcome to use, as well as a charcoal grill. You are responsible for bringing your own charcoal, lighters, etc. If you need wood bundles please let us know. We are located appx 20 minutes from Lake Thurmond and several well-known golf courses. The entire property is a no-smoking zone. This includes cigarettes, vape pens, etc. This is also a non-drinking zone. No alcohol of any kind is allowed on the premises. These rules are set in place for the safety of my family and my animals. Please let us know if there is anything you need before your arrival and we do our best to accommodate you. For your convenience there is a Dollar General located one mile down the road. We look forward to having you as our guests!

A beautiful small farm where we homestead. We have a large garden, including raised beds, and raise everything organically. No pesticides. We raise miniature horses, miniature Highland and Highland cross cattle, Kune Kune and Kune Kune cross pigs, as well as chickens and geese. We have a lovely 1+ acre pond in front of the main house, which is fully stocked with Brim, Channel Catfish and Largemouth Bass. This pond has a wonderful ecosystem and is home to Kingfishers, wood ducks, Storks, herons, egrets, and is a place where a nesting pair of Bald Eagles come for water, and an occasional fish. We have an in-ground swimming pool, and a paddle boat to take out on the pond. Whether you are looking for a quiet weekend get away, or a chance to experience farm life on a small homestead, this place has a lot to offer. We offer a canning class, making artisan bread, and a hayride (tractor pulled) around the property. Breakfast and lunch or breakfast and Dinner can be included in the stay at an additional charge. We have 2 large horses that can be fed carrots, loved on, petted, and the possibility of some riding. Gathering eggs, feeding the hens and pigs, playing with Titan the farm mascot (our Great Dane dog), or just relaxing around the pool, or around a fire pit, there is always something happening on our little farm. The lady of the house has her Serv Safe certification for preparing and serving food and has been a home chef for parties and catering for several years. Welcome to beautiful Aiken County SC! We are a small homestead/farm 10 miles north of the wonderful little city of Aiken. Our clothing optional farm offers access to sandy roads for riding horses and 4 wheelers, a sand pit is also close by for some exciting 4 wheeler action. Our travel trailer is situated next to the house but offers a private refuge. Pets are allowed but we have livestock guardian dogs so they must be leashed. The trailer sports a queen memory foam mattress and full amenities with accommodations for other sleepers on fold outs. There is a fire pit in our front yard and option of propane pit for the canopy area by the trailer. Guests are welcome to experience small farm life, we have chickens, of course, turkeys Jacob Sheep, Kunekune pigs and 4 Central Asian Sheppard LDG's and plenty of fresh garden raised food. In summer months we can and freeze dry our foods as well as local peaches, strawberries, blue berries and make Muscadine wine. Lakes, hiking, Revolutionary War sites are all close by for your outdoor adventures. Bring you wheeler/dirt bike and horses and see what the Midlands of SC has to offer.

Such a quiet place to stay. You have the opportunity to relax on the large deck overlooking water. Such a relaxing place. The dome had everything we needed. Bonus points for the hammock! We will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Hesed Homestead

We loved our trip. The hosts went above and beyond to have us have a comfortable stay. I have two toddlers, and it rained a majority of our trip, but would you believe that they set up a busy box for our toddlers so that they could have activities to do inside the camper?? So generous. The bed was comfortable, the hot water was piping hot, the string lights were perfect. We really had no complaints. It was very quiet and relaxing! We had a great time. Highly recommend. We will be back!!!!

Weekend Trip to Offgrid Glamping At Private Lake

Everything was as advertised. Location is very secluded and peaceful. The Dome was in great shape and the interior design was impressive. We had a great experience and look forward to visiting again. Hosts were very accommodating.

Weekend Trip to Hesed Homestead

We enjoyed our stay at this secluded RV sight! What we loved ❤️ The RV was CLEAN and so cute! ❤️ Clean sheets, towels, and water bottles were provided ❤️ Directions were clear ❤️ Jessie’s communication was great ❤️ That beautiful sunrise view ❤️The AC is fabulous ❤️ We were alone and totally unbothered during our stay ❤️ Lovely bird sounds in the morning ❤️ All the little reading lights inside the RV were very helpful ❤️ The lawn chairs were quite comfy for watching the sunrise ❤️Affordable price Some side notes •There were a few little gnats/bugs in the bathroom but that didn’t bother us •I had read about their spring-fed pond and the possibility for swimming and kayaking, sadly, their kayaks don’t exist anymore due to Helene and I don’t really recommend swimming in the pond—it was very muddy and warm (we tried) If there is some way they could make the pond nicer, it could be a big perk Overall would 100% recommend to a friend!

Weekend Trip to Small Stuff Farm

This has to be the best property offered on Hipcamp. I have rented places through Hipcamp as well as other apps, and this is the best property and best experience yet. The hosts Loretta and Erik could not be more kind and welcoming. They live onsite, and will give you space and privacy when you want it…but will also quickly make you feel like an Important part of the household. The property is first class. You can meet the farm animals and experience farm life as much as you’d like. Yet you can also lounge by the pool and swim, and feel like you’re at a 5-star resort. Very unique. Also check out the large pond for wildlife viewing and a paddle boat ride if you’d like. The bedroom and private bathroom is really comfortable and they have every amenity you can think of. And be sure to include Loretta’s home cooked meals when making your reservation. They are delicious, made with ingredients straight from the farm you are staying on, and the fellowship with new friends is the best. Your best bet is to arrive for check-in, and not leave the property until it’s time for check-out. You will love every moment.

4 nights at Prices Bridge Inn & Campgrounds

The A-frame was perfect! Enough space to be able to relax in. Every morning, afternoon and evening, my dog and I would sit on the dock gazing out at the lake with Herons, Osprey, Geese, Ducks and Cormorants all flying past. With the boat ramp right there, we would easily cast off on our SUP for the lake. Jesse, his wife and kids were wonderful and so nice. Their place and land offered so much to do. My dog got to feel like a country dog, interacting with the chickens, running through the woods and snoozing by the fire pit. This trip was exactly what I needed and desired. I loved every minute at Jesse's place.

1 night at Hesed Homestead

Great experience. This RV was clean and comfortable. You can tell that Jessie has put alot of care and love into making this RV a special place for her guests. Bed linens and clean towels are provided. I enjoyed sitting by the firepit and relaxing. The homeowners are far enough away that the RV feel private but they are just a phone call away if you need them. The homeowners were kind enough to come show me how to work the heat. The property is quiet and peaceful. I would certainly stay here again.
