A respite in nature with all the conveniences you want and need. Stay in our roomy 36' well-kept travel trailer (affectionately called the Chalet — a 2006 Montego Bay). AC, heat, running water, kitchen, sinks, shower, flush toilet, king size bed, 2 twin beds, loveseat, kitchen table and chairs, TV screen, DVD player, internet. Nestled next to a stream in an enchanted forest with preserved areas, you’ll find walking and hiking trails along creeks and through the woods. Expect daily visits from deer, hawks, owls, coyotes, and more. The area is very quiet, yet just 5–10 minutes from everything you need — grocery stores, restaurants, downtown Chapel Hill and Carrboro, UNC, and more.A respite in nature with all of the conveniences you want and need. Chalet In An Enchanted Forest

This was a great spot for my two girls and I traveling from the coast to the mountains on a Friday night. Nicely positioned underneath very mature pines. While there was an intense heatwave outside, the camper maintained its cool AC for comfortable sleeping. Kids and I had a fun time watching Charlie’s Angels on the DVD player. Linens were clean, microwave, bathroom and shower worked great. Location off the highway was very convenient but neighborhood felt like you were in the well maintained country. Sweet balance of convenience, confort and relaxation. Owners were cool and very welcoming.

Chalet In An Enchanted Forest

The travel trailer was spacious and comfortable. It is parked next to a driveway. So, expect family and neighborhood activity during your stay. The nearby stream was a great place to chill and relax. Trails and parks are nearby as well as a quick drive to Starbucks. My only complaint is that the Hipcamp listing needs updated. Check-is at 3pm (not 1pm) The hosts were super friendly, helpful, and generous.
