We live on 10 acres of mixed forest and field. In the summer we have an active blacksmithing school and flower farm here. The idea of a sustainable, self reliant lifestyle has always been part of our life and passing it down to others is a joy for us. We sustainably manage our food and forest to be the best stewards we can for our environment and our neighbors. Our Cabin and structures were built primarily of materials that were recycled or milled on site. which makes them warm and inviting. The Cabin is located close to our shop which houses an active blacksmithing school in the summer months where the rest of the structures are separate and in an area tucked away on the edge of the woods. Jeffrey and Betsy work to make your stay as welcoming as possible. Please note there are no pets as the wildlife could be disturbed..both human and otherwise, thanks. We maintain a small orchard of fruit trees, a garden which feeds us year round and a small flower farm on the property. Avid skiers, bikers, paddlers and hikers, offering the property for others to enjoy was a conscious decision made when planning all of our infrastructure. Come and enjoy all the beautiful Flathead Valley has to offer.

On 2 acres within walking distance of downtown Kalispell and a short drive to Glacier National Park, we offer comfortable tipis that can sleep from 2-4 people. The tipis are equipped with a queen-sized air mattress and bedding, a power box and lighting and a table and chair. You have access to picnic tables, a fire pit and a good selection of yard games like croquet and corn-hole to name a few. The acreage is surrounded on three sides by Ashley Creek and boasts a unique covered bridge and awe-inspiring grandmother Willow trees. Beautiful downtown Kalispell is an easy 10-minute walk. There you'll find local breweries with live music, a local ice cream shop, a variety of restaurants and shops. Parking is not right next to the tipis, but we have a wagon to help get your things from your vehicle to your tipi. Under the bridge is where you'll find our games, including croquet, badminton, Frisbee and Frisbee games, Bocce ball and Wiffle golf balls and clubs. We also have extra bedding and air mattresses in a secure chest. Remember that you'll be camping in a field. We've done our level best to keep the tipis clean and clear of pests, but it is a natural environment, so there is a non-zero chance that you'll run across some dirt, grass, thistles, or a multi-legged friend. You might even get an unwanted gift from a bird. The Mooseshroom is an awesome camping community that is just 7 miles from the west side of Glacier National Park. Community fire pits near the Commons are a short walk from whichever tent spot guests are assigned. The Commons also houses the bathrooms and inside/outside kitchen areas. There is plenty of seating, hammocks and picnic tables for guests to use as well. We also have two yurts available for booking on our property. The Mooseshroom is a licensed business that is limited to hosting 18 guests per night. Guests should expect a quiet, peaceful camping experience with plenty of room to enjoy their surroundings. ***This property is adjacent Highway 2 and there is a fair amount of road noise. There's also a train that's fairly close. The noise kinda comes with the territory, guests are also 10 minutes from the west entrance to the park. The noise does tend to subside considerably at night, but for those bothered by this type of noise, you might consider an alternate location. Most guests are truly fine with it.

This hard sided campsite hosts a Remodeled Dry cabin with Power and Queen-Double bunk bed, dining table with chairs and a covered porch. The Second Living Unit is a well kept 2018, Jayco travel trailer with slide-out that sleeps 4 comfortably (up to 6), and has full utilities (water/power/sewer) and includes A/C, 3 burner range, microwave, bathroom with standup shower (5 gallon RV water heater), outdoor shower, private master with RV Queen mattress. The rear living setup allows for a large living/dining/kitchen area. The futon folds down into a full bed, and the dinette drops into a double futon 4” pad for extra campers or sleeping separately. This private parcel shares a forest service boundary on one side, and is adjacent the road on the other, but the cabin and RV are set as close to the FS boundary as possible and there is a large, 1 acre clearing with plenty of additional parking areas. Enjoy the forest service access and nearby Jim Creek with public access just across the bridge. Check out the pair of nesting Common Loons at Peck Lake. Get out of the tent and enjoy a cozy night inside. Outdoor string lighting and an adjacent forest service campfire ring makes your evenings something to remember. Minutes to other local trailheads and public land and water way access. Notes: There is plenty of additional parking, but no additional RV hookups. We had the yurt for 4 nights, very nice back yard, the yurt was awesome, you are close to a main road, so there is traffic noise, but it’s a great central location to hit Glacier and to check out whitefish, when in whitefish get the nachos and only the nachos from the craggy range, it’s literally a mountain of nachos and cheese and tons of toppings, probably the best we have ever had anywhere in the US, and we get a lot of nachos

Weekend Trip to North American RV & Yurt Village

We stayed in our tents at Apgar campground our first night in Glacier. 2nd night we enjoyed the Yurt experience. Staff was wonderful and kinds. Showers were great to have especially in the rainy weather. Location is very practical for West Glacier entrance. Double bunk was not much more comfortable than my tent air mattress but overall I would absolutely head here again in the future!

The dome itself is huge inside, well furnished with everything you could need, the window side and top are awesome. Trina was great, we could've chatted all night, and cares so much about the place! And it shows! 10/10 recommend!

Weekend Trip to Mission Falls Ranch

If you're looking for somewhere quiet, charming, and full of character, this is it. We absolutely loved our stay here. Geoff and Heidi were kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about sharing their little slice of paradise. The A-frame was super cute and comfy, and falling asleep to the sound of the creek was so relaxing. One of our favorite parts was meeting all the animals! Special mention to Curly the pig and all of their lovely dogs.

This place sits atop one of the most beautiful parts of Montana I’ve ever been to. Trina is an amazing host and took the time to sit down and chat both times I stayed! The views of this place are amazing, the domes are as comfortable as a nice hotel room, and there were even some cool wildlife sightings on the property. 10/10 would recommend

2 nights at Mission Falls Ranch

This experience was amazing and Geof was a top-notch host! If you want views and lots of animals with a comfortable camping this site is it! The camping setup was the perfect level of rustic with comfort. The shower was so nice to have and the A-frame was super comfortable, plus it added a layer of safety from bears....yes bears. We stayed there 2 nights and saw black bears both days, such a cool experience! (spoilers) Cows, goats, donkeys, dogs, and pigs were all so friendly. And the views were breathtaking, with the cows it felt like we were in the swiss alps. Learning about the reservation culture and history from Geof was such a neat surprise. It is always fun to learn about culture of the area we were visiting and Geof definitely provided that. I can't say enough good things about this campsite, highly recommend. Thanks Geof!

I very much enjoyed this site. It was nice to come back from a full day in Glacier and have a comfy place set up for you. The yurt was very comfortable to stay in and had a cute little electric fireplace. As a matter of fact, if you like a soft bed, it was the most comfortable bed I've slept in in ages. The cot is less comfy, but an extra camping pad makes a difference. Pro: The host was responsive. Port-a-pottys were clean, in general. (see the con) Con: No potable water on site (pack it in) and you can hear the highway (not too busy). The port-a-potty was not full but it must have sat there awhile due to being off season. Should be good during normal touristy season. :)

Weekend Trip to North American RV & Yurt Village

Great place to stay! We went with the yurt, and it was very clean. The facilities were also cleaned early every morning, which was greatly appreciated. The road noise and trains can sometimes be a bit much late at night, but that is no fault of the property owners, nor is it isolated to this one lodging location. Everyone along this main road will deal with the same, so bring earplugs! Huge bonus is that this place is right outside Glacier NP, so it saves you a ton of time instead of driving from Kalispell proper.
