Our property has been in business in one way or another for over 70 years. The stick built cabins are pre 1950's and no one really knows for sure how old they truly are. We are located on Fort Creek named after the creek that ran through Fort Klamath. Fort Creek is a beautiful 30' wide meandering creek that runs the length of the property north to south. We offer free use of our Old Town Canoes to paddle along it's extent and on up creek to a beaver damn. There is a fun hiking trail that runs over two bridges that span the creek, one covered and one floating. We also offer free catch and release fishing, there are Rainbow and Brown Trout in our waters.
Fort Klamath is the birthplace and home of the US Army 1st Cavalry and our property is located on the the Forts Southeastern grounds. We are 9 miles from the southern border of the National Park and 23 miles from the southern Rim and Rim Village.
Please note: We do allow pets in some of our sites for $10 per night. If you plan to bring a pet, please add the pet fee which is listed under "Extras" during the booking process.

Beautiful property close to Crater Lake National Park. The Wood River runs through it. The 28 acres is mostly undeveloped, but there are a few houses and a restroom outbuilding. Bring your kids, bring your dogs; enjoy the beautiful setting. We have a few kayaks, or there are rental kayaks available nearby.
NOTE: Please be aware that the mosquitos can be very bad here at times.
Power has recently been going out more frequently due to the Pacific Power's "advanced safety settings". When the power is out the well pump is out, so there is no water. I am happy to provide buckets of river water for "flushing toilets" and pay for showers at the Klamoya Travel Center. I will not be giving refunds for a situation over which I have no control.

While our site offers access to seclusion, it's not entirely secluded on its own. Nestled at the bottom of a pasture in a farming area, it's within sight of the owner and a neighbor. However, rural living offers a sense of privacy, allowing you to relax and be yourself amidst nature. Keep in mind that you may encounter bugs, coyotes, deer, and some nearby farming activity during your stay.
Our communal camping area features level ground, fire pit, potable water spigot, camp toilet, and a picnic table. Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be leashed or kenneled on the property—feel free to let them off-leash on the adjacent public lands.
You may get lucky and get a visit from one of our barn cats-Pumpkin and Spice, or get a glimpse of one of the dinosaur chickens (Guinea Fowl) that serve as pest and mosquito control.
Owners are available to provide information and maps for hiking and outdoor recreation activities. Enjoy stunning views of Mount Shasta from your campsite, with seasonally flooded fields adding to the picturesque scenery. You're also welcome to explore the hills nearby, offering even more breathtaking vistas to discover.

You will find shells between the trees and solar lights at each campsite for your convenience.On the two acres, there's a Porta-Potty available, and all my guest will receive a welcome bag, as a thank you for booking with River Pines. Located approximately 60 miles from Crater Lake National Park, 30 miles from Lava Beds National Monument, and 12 miles from Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuge, our retreat offers unparalleled access to a variety of natural wonders.
Within just 30 minutes, you'll find numerous opportunities for hiking, fishing, kayaking, and biking, with private access to miles of hiking trails on public land right from the campsite. Keep your eyes peeled for the impressive eagle activity in the area, as bald and golden eagles are frequently spotted soaring above or perched nearby.
At night, you may have the opportunity to join us for star viewing parties under our dark, expansive sky—an experience you won't forget.
While our site offers access to seclusion, it's not entirely secluded on its own. Nestled at the bottom of a pasture in a farming area, it's within sight of the owner and a neighbor. However, rural living offers a sense of privacy, allowing you to relax and be yourself amidst nature. Keep in mind that you may encounter bugs, coyotes, deer, and some nearby farming activity during your stay.
Our communal camping area features level ground, fire pit, potable water spigot, camp toilet, and a picnic table. Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be leashed or kenneled on the property—feel free to let them off-leash on the adjacent public lands.
You may get lucky and get a visit from one of our barn cats-Pumpkin and Spice, or get a glimpse of one of the dinosaur chickens (Guinea Fowl) that serve as pest and mosquito control.
Owners are available to provide information and maps for hiking and outdoor recreation activities. Enjoy stunning views of Mount Shasta from your campsite, with seasonally flooded fields adding to the picturesque scenery. You're also welcome to explore the hills nearby, offering even more breathtaking vistas to discover.

I have two acres of land separate from my home, pretty much wooded property ideal for tent camping or sleeping in your car you are off the road a bit with privacy in a secure safe environment. You will find shells between the trees and solar lights at each campsite for your convenience.On the two acres, there's a Porta-Potty available, and all my guest will receive a welcome bag, as a thank you for booking with River Pines. What a view! Easy to set up, water and electric right there. Level and gravelly. Across the road is a field where Balds and Goldens gather every morning. It was magical! And Shasta is the backdrop for all of this! Laurie is responsive but let's you be. Go and camp there!

It was nice! There was a well kept outhouse, and she put hand sanitizer and such inside. Nice touches. There was a garbage can and a picnic table - we had a good camping experience there.
The only drawback in my opinion is that the camp lacks a source of water so you need to bring your own.

We were not sure at first if we were at the right place. We pulled in where it said picnic and found an area to set up came with porta johns. Dahllia was quick to respond to confirm we found the spot we were looking for. The river is a huge bonus, the kids and dogs had a great time swimming. To find it you walk the Riverbank Dr to the left and it ends at the swimming spot. The sunset was amazing with a gorgeous night sky. It was about an hour from Crater Lake and very secluded. We would definitely recommend this spot.

Tracy and her brother Curt were very kind and hospitable. The site was large, quiet, and conveniently located beside the shower house/restrooms which were very clean. Tracy's directions were perfect and our 40' Class A and tow vehicle fit without issue. Tracy allowed us use of their kayaks and laundry which was a huge blessing. The only downside was the mosquitos--they were numerous and ravenous-so come prepared with more than just bug spray. Beautiful setting, very close to a Kimball State campground and an easy drive to Crater Lake. Our kayak upstream to the headwaters at Kimball campground was arduous and took about 3 hours--with many stops to rest and enjoy the view. The return trip, with the current pushing us along, was only 45 minutes.

The site was quiet and peaceful. Not much of a view since our 5th wheel was facing the bathrooms. The mosquitoes were an issue. Didn’t matter how much repellent we put on - they were a nuisance. Short walk down to a near by stream which we had permission to use the canoe. That was awesome! Short distance to Crater Lake National Park.

Tracy gave very clear and specific directions which allowed us to find the site easily. Looks just like in the photos.
The bathroom was very clean and pleasantly surprised that it’s stocked with a couple of comfort items (make up remover, paper towels).
We were well made aware of mosquitos present which thankfully allowed us to prepare accordingly. They are indeed no joke and ruthless so unfortunately deterred us from enjoying the outdoors with our young children. For this reason I don’t recommend coming this time of year (early July). The ground squirrels are adorable though and otherwise the site is beautiful and conveniently located for Crater Lake exploration.

Camping at Fourmile Lake was awesome. We drove a few miles in on a dirt road from hwy 140. The lake was peaceful and private, with just a few fisherfolk on the shore and in small boats. The sites are right on the lake, maybe 100 ft to the water. We stayed in site #11 for one night after Labor Day. There were a number of other campers, but the sites are far enough away from each other to feel unaccompanied. The water was warm enough to swim on a hot day. There are plenty of pit toilets, surprisingly well kept.

I ended up here based on the recommendation from the Ranger in Lakeview that this campground would not disappoint! He was right! It is in a delightful, remote location at a bit of elevation -- perfect for stargazing and peaceful quiet. Each campsite is HUGE - tons of space. Mine had a private meadow. The forest is expansive -- you can easily find trails to wander on (some created by the cows at pasture). There's a trailhead with official paths ~4 miles from the park entry (2-3 miles away from the camp ground). There's a vault toilet -- which frankly was one of the nicest toilets I'd seen in a park!
Notably this campground is only maintained from June 1 - October 15 -- however, I camped there on October 18th. It was cold...
