The host was very responsive and welcoming, and even prepared a thoughtful little goodie bag on arrival. I appreciated being able to choose my own spot, and the porta potty was clean and well maintained, definitely better than most campsites. The site was fine for one night, though not perfectly level, and it was nice to have a trash can provided.
However, there were quite a few flies and bees around, which made it a little less comfortable at times. And at night, while it stayed mostly quiet, I couldn’t help but feel slightly uneasy about safety given the location. As described, there is no cell phone service at all. I think I’d still recommend this spot to people traveling in groups given its proximity to Crater Lake, but probably not to someone traveling alone.

It was nice! There was a well kept outhouse, and she put hand sanitizer and such inside. Nice touches. There was a garbage can and a picnic table - we had a good camping experience there.
The only drawback in my opinion is that the camp lacks a source of water so you need to bring your own.

It was just as described but the camp was bordered by a highway and a gravel road. Both roads had quite a bit of activity causing it to be a noisy campsite.

Carla's place is pretty cool. I stopped by on my way to Bend. She was very welcoming, congenial and provided a small care package which was really sweet. Regarding the site, I enjoyed it. However, lots of mosquitos since it's near a river so be aware of that. The dirt is pretty soft so wear some shoes. I had a good time here. The neighbors that live down the road are cool as well. I had my mountain bike mounted on my truck and one stopped by and we talked about mountain bikes for a bit. I felt very welcomed. Even though it's near a couple roads, I had an easy time sleeping. I would come back again...but prepared for the mosquitos, lol.

Carla is a sweet host who is new to Hipcamp but eager to please and very hospitable. Her campsite is open offering options for tenters, small trailers, and vans. Her grounds are decorated, fun and well kept. If in the Klamath Falls area she is a good choice.

The host, Carla is great in fast responses and was out front waiting for us when we arrived. She provided a thoughtful goodie bag at our arrival.
She kindly directed us to her Hipcamp and allowed us choose whatever site we wanted. The land is amongst trees but it was pretty dusty especially with the cars and motorcycles going past the land. But honestly, the folks that were driving by all offered a friendly wave and one gal asked if she was causing too much dust. I'm guessing she and the others lived down the gravel road so this is their home and land. The sites were ok- not super level but was just fine for one night. The trashcan was appreciated and porta potty was clean and def one of the better ones at a campsite.
Carla has plans for improvement- hopefully that will include laying gravel or wood chips down to reduce the dust and leveling the sites.

The 4 sites are close to the highway, not the river. The river is a shot drive/longer walk from the camp sites. The sites are dusty in the summer, but since the soil is sandy, it was easy to pitch the tent! The host kindly provided a thoughtful care package.

We really loved this spot. We walked down to the river at sunset and really relaxed after a long hot drive. Yes there is a road nearby but ther is hardly any traffic at night so we had a peaceful night.

Very pretty area, I did go alone and the placement of being right off the road was a little nerve wracking with people driving by. I would definitely come back as long as I have a small group! Beautiful spot and the lady who checked me in was incredibly sweet!!

This was a great spot to stay! Carla was so nice and met us right when we got there. She let us know where to go on the property to set up for the night. Follow the directions she provides in the instructions which takes you to her main house to check in. Overall a great spot!
