Coast camping!
Absolutely loved our stay camping on the Longhorn farm in Tillamook! The setting was stunning — surrounded by lush green pastures, the peaceful water right at our doorstep, and the most beautiful longhorn bulls to admire.
The camp site itself is thoughtfully set up with picnic tables and a firepit — perfect for evenings under the stars. Watching the Longhorns graze nearby added such a unique, relaxing vibe to the whole experience.
If you’re looking to unwind, enjoy beautiful scenery, and soak in a bit of farm life with all the comforts of a trailer, this spot is a hidden gem. We can’t wait to come back!

Non-responsive, no hot shower
Owners never responded to our messages and the Hostaway app wouldn't display their phone number. Our camp site was picturesque, but the advertised shower wasn't available and there was also no wood available for purchase. We will be requesting a refund.

Great stay ,the long horns was a good touch. Nice to see fisherman on the river in the morning. One of them got their line stuck in the tree, that was pretty funny.

Fantastic Stay!
This place is fantastic!! I booked it last second and wow what a wonderful surprise how nice it was. We brought our travel trailer and this please was easy to find, easy to park and beautiful. We were the only ones there which was special but also their land is beautiful. The longhorns roaming around are awesome. They are even playful. It was fun watching them each day. This is right on a stream/ river and it’s peaceful. They have an area to fish which was fun and they have an outhouse with a hot shower! What more could you want. The owners were friendly and even cam and brought us some firewood.
We would def book again.
There is a cabin you can book and we would be interested in that as well. This camping area is big enough for a big group too.

We had a very sweet one night stay in the cabin and can't wait to come back in the summer for some nice weather to enjoy the river! Robert gave us a fresh made sausage for dinner which was awesome and we all had a good time.

Amazing experience!!
This is hands down the best Hipcamp we’ve ever stayed at! The Texas Longhorns were stunning, and the scenery was just as breathtaking. We love camping near water, so being right on the Taos River was an incredible experience.
We’d absolutely come back! Plus, we really appreciate a place that lets you decide on leash rules—it’s so much more fun when the dogs can run and play freely.
Bonus: Starlink worked great here too!

Waterside camping.
The tent site was perfect! Right next to the water and had a fire pit! We even got to wake up to some friendly cows checking up on us.

My wife, our two cattle dogs, and I had a great experience on the property! Robert and Carmen made the whole stay very simple, convenient, and comfortable. Waking up next to the river and watching the Longhorns do their thing while we drank our morning coffee was awesome. Also, the shelter was very comfortable inside and the propane heater kept us very warm during the coldest part of the night. If you need a place to stay within 15-20 minutes of the beach, I would recommend this spot.

Camping area seems to be of a dispersed nature with no set site locations in a large meadow next to the Trask river. Picnic tables and a nice fire pit are available (there wasn’t any wood there). Pit toilet with shower (hot water). There is a cabin adjacent that is also available.

We love everything about this place, definitely one of my favorite spots on Hipcamp! The cabin is perfect, Carmen is a wonderful host and the land is so beautiful! Being so close to the field of longhorns is amazing, they are absolutely beautiful and have such a calming effect on the soul! We will be returning for years to come!

Cows, Cows, Cows!
Great spot to camp!
Great firepit, beautiful cows to see, and river access too. Bathroom is clean, shower is hot, host is friendly! Second time I’ve stayed, and hoping to be back again!

Great spot with beautiful ranch feel with the working Texas Longhorn ranch in front and the Trask River right behind. Hosts were excellent and came out to check us in after we arrived.
Mostly quiet and peaceful (depends wholly on who else camping/staying as the cabin has another site immediately adjacent and there was a large group already there).
Would go back!

Beautiful, well manicured place to relax and unplug. The cabin is rustic and charming. We hope to come back soon!
Some tips:
We did hear some coyotes and highway traffic from time to time.. Also didn’t see a way to the river so not sure if there is access from the property. Make sure to bring your own bedding and garbage bags to pack your trash out.

Serene, comfortable, and private
I had the best stay at Carmen and Robert’s cabin, it absolutely exceeded my expectations! This camp site provided the exact type of serenity I long for. The site is right on the river and very well maintained. There was a group camping at the site next to me but the Cabin area still offered privacy for my fire and evening hangout. Carmen even showed me an alternative outhouse so I could have a private one if I wanted. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the space was adorable and clean for a primitive cabin. Would absolutely come back to this site.

Riverside camping!!
This was absolutely our favorite hip camp site on our epic roadtrip from Seattle to Sedona! I am already looking at flights to Portland as Tillamook and this site are worth the drive from the airport! The campsite is actually on the river. Some sites say that and it’s a bit of a walk. Our kids and dogs could run free, the animals grazing in the morning was everything. Sitting in the river, listening to music and sitting around the fire in those cool bench things were among our favorite things. They have a little cabin available but even tent camping was just perfect! Carmen came by to say hi but it was brief and off she went. The best kind of host interaction for this introvert. A really cool outdoor hot shower is available and a vault toilet which my kids were scared of but we had our own camping toilet so it didn’t matter. We tried to stay another night but it was all booked up. My goal is to make it back to that river and I know my family and dogs feel the same!! Thank you Carmen!!!!!

Great camp site
Our family had a great weekend at this beautiful and peaceful site with the Texas Longhorns and the river as neighbors. It was easily one of the best hip camps we have tried and highly recommended. We are hoping to return again next summer.

Camping with the Longhorns
We had a great stay on the farm! The camping spot was beautiful, next to a river with a very clean and private toilet & shower. The fire pit was perfect for cooking dinner and Carmen provided wood and started the fire for us for a very reasonable fee. The camping area was well maintained and large enough for multiple campers but as it was just us we had the place to ourselves. A perfect place to stay and just a short drive to the Tillamook Creamery if you plan on visiting.

A cozy cabin with charming decor and a working heater which we very much appreciated! The outhouse was fine, not the cleanest. We unfortunately did not have time to hang out or explore the property so cannot comment on that.

I loved tent camping on Sarah's land. We were close enough to the Pacific that it allowed us to escape the heat of the city and enjoy the temperate ocean breeze.
