We had a good time staying in a Teepee at Heartline ranch. Check in was easy and everything was straight forward.
The sleeping pads, pillows and sleeping bags were all in pretty good condition and comfortable. The port a potties were very clean and I was so thankful they didn't smell. We didn't use the shower but I think it's so cool that's they have one on site. We got to see the horses and they came over to say hi to us.
There is a lot of mosquitos in the area. They provided us with green incense like mosquito repellent which was very kind. I would recommend bringing extra mosquito provisions because we all got bite many times. This obviously isn't in the owners control.
Overall I would definitely recommend staying here. It's such a unique experience.

Decent campsite, host were friendly. Location was rather dusty. There was a nice little wetlands area to walk at and fish within 5 minutes of the camp, tiny little casino 10 minutes away. You are fairly close to the highway so you'll hear some traffic. We did have a Bald Eagle hanging out in a tree right next to our camp so that was cool. The mosquitos were pretty brutal though so prepare for that once the sun goes down and in the mornings

I was pleasantly surprised to find out a teepee was available for all the sites. It was the perfect place to be during an intense thunderstorm, my car or tent would have been unpleasant.

Very nice for last minute camping, great host. Prepared all needed info for us even though we arrived at 10 pm. A little to close to the road, but I slept well. We had our own tent but camping next to the tipis was sick!

Bob and Kori are super accommodating and make sure fellow campers aren’t disruptive. The land is beautiful and is located directly next to a national forest - the campsites don’t have a ton of privacy but I had no problems with fellow campers. The campsite was dusty but manageable. Overall would stay again and had a great time.

As far as the campsites go I don’t think I would return. Upon arrival I was given a different campsite than what I booked. Due to the fire ban there was no firewood bundle - which is fine but I was not refunded for purchasing during a non fire ban. The shower was inoperable, and host did have someone come out same day to fix, but once “fixed” the water only came out freezing. I think the tipis in the cooler months would be awesome, but as far as the campsites go I probably would not chose to return.

Overall, the experience was ok. The campsite was close to Crater Lake and was quiet. However, the camp area had a lot of dust and were not maintained well (poison ivy all over).

Unforgettably fun experience, it was just me and my two girls (ages 13 and 9) and we had a blast. Super clean and safe site. Hosts were wonderful and warm. My girls loved their horses. Conveniently located for Spring Creek, Fourmile Lake and Crater Lake National Park. Everyone in the town of Chiloquin is super friendly and helpful. We had never been fishing and the local hardware store in town completely set up our poles and walked us through how to use them and what bait to use for the local fish. Kori suggested we try the town's Mexican restaurant, The Rodeo and the food was awesome. There's a coffee shop on the way into town that is must try. We give our experience 10/10 and will definitely be back.

It was the perfect place to stop before our crater lake trip! I really enjoyed how they led us directly to our spot and had detailed instructions in case we arrived late.
Some things to know:
- The highway is close by so you may get some car noise. It’s not bad, though.
- The mosquitos got me bad! It took me a while to notice them so just put on bug spray immediately.
- There aren’t any snakes on the property! Apparently the soil makes it hard for them to live there so that was a relief for tent camping.
- The campsites are pretty clear so it’s perfect for star gazing. It was incredible to look up and see so many star directly above my tent.

Spacious tent camping. Teepees also available. Friendly host led us to our campsite. Hot shower available; one for the campground.. Porta potty near campsites. It had been very dry, so camp road & sites were quite dusty. Nothing to be done about that.

We had a great experience at Heartline. Our family is too big for the tipis so we were at a tent site, we booked one closer to the road and the hosts were kind enough to move us further back since it was available. The tipis looked super cute though! The sites were a bit dusty, which we were told keeps the snakes away but it makes dirty toddlers.

This was an interesting and safe place to stay. The futons in the Tipis helped us have a more comfortable night’s sleep. There is potable water on site. We enjoyed making a little fire with the wood there. The shower was a really nice feature because things got quite dusty here!

What a lovely place to stay outside Crater Lake. The host was so welcoming and shared the history of the ranch which was so intriguing. The shower was wonderful and the sunsets spectacular. 10/10 would recommend.

The camp host was an absolute sweetheart. Loved her. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.. The campsite itself wasn’t very visually appealing to me, super dusty, and tons of mosquitoes. The porta potties were also in need to being emptied however they were clean (seat, area around seat, floor, etc).

The Host was the Best part of the Space
It’s unfortunate that a Fire Tore Through the Place a Few Years ago, and that Hipcamp doesn’t Warn about these Hazards, but are More then Happy to Charge a surcharge.
I didn’t do my due diligence to investigate current situation, there was no Shade in the most Sites
I chose, space 3,
and could have been offered a better option, space 6 seemed to have a scant bit more shade, and was Empty the entire time we were there
The campground is a Dust Bowl and burned forest everywhere, Bulldozed Brush from the Fire
Not very well maintained sites.
Evening Time was Mosquito Central
Campsites are about 500 yards from Hiway 62 with lots of Going somewhere Traffic,
Never seen a Port-O-Potty Shower
Our Toilet P-o-P was on a slant making night use for my Daughter No Bueno!
