Camping near tumalo state park
Rocki is a super host! She was there to greet us when we arrived and available to answer questions if needed, but she also gave us space so it didn't feel like we were camping on someone's property. There was a heat wave in Oregon the week we stayed, so we were super grateful for the electricity to run our air conditioner when needed. The site is pretty level. There are homes in the area, but overall it was super quiet and peaceful on her property. Tumalo Park is just across hwy 20, so we used the Day Use area to access the Deschutes River.
A weekend at rocki's place
We loved our time on Rocki's land! Perfect space for our truck and 32' trailer. So peaceful and a beautiful setting! Close to town, convenient spot to rest and relax away from the hustle and crowded campsites around Bend and Sisters. We enjoyed the quilt show in Sisters, a white water rafting trip, and meeting friends for dinner after the summer festival in downtown Bend. Rocki and family were gracious and willing to help us set up had we needed it. 5 star experience, excellent location, beautiful landscaping, peaceful, and gracious hosts! We would definitely stay here again!!
Beautiful location close to town
Beautiful location. Great views. Great location - Close to town and state park. Deer activity. Host was very nice and friendly. We camped with two dogs and 2 young kids. They provided camp chairs and picnic table. Location was very clean. Electric and water available.
