We stayed just one night here and it was such a peaceful, personal experience. The property was quiet, the horses were beautiful to watch, and the whole place had a really calming, open-sky vibe. It felt like a true escape.
We grabbed dinner at Smokin Joes BBQ in town before heading to the ranch and I’d highly recommend it if you want good food and friendly conversation. That night, we discovered Carter Spring, a natural spring just five minutes down the road. It was cold but super refreshing, with local kids playing and jumping in—definitely a cool little hidden spot.
Whether you’re a beginner camper, a weekend explorer, or just need a quiet night under the stars, this place is a perfect base. I’d absolutely come back!
