We sit on 130 acres of primarily pasture over looking Washoe Valley and Washoe Lake. Olde LYFE Alpacas offers visits with the animals, including an organized 60 min Peaceful Walk with an alpaca where you’ll experience them up close. There is a small retail store on site with a variety of products made with alpaca fiber, including the most delightful alpaca socks!!Park your RV or pitch your tent, relax and take in the beautiful view of the Sierras or Washoe Lake across the pastures. When you’re ready , stroll on over to see the alpacas, OR just hang out at your campsite and they might just come to you!! Either way, lots of animal fun around the ranch . Olde LYFE Alpacas

My friend and I loved car camping here! Stacey was extremely kind and accommodating. We enjoyed having our breakfast basket and watching the Alpacas in the morning. This Hipcamp is such a steal and unique experience—not to mention it's also 50 minutes from South Shore Tahoe. I would highly recommend it!

It's all about the Alpacas!

Olde LYFE Alpacas is such a unique and unforgettable Hipcamp! If you love animals and want to spend time up close with Alpacas, I recommend this camp. Stacey was a fantastic host, passionate about the farm, welcoming, and wonderful. This Hipcamp was beautiful, but the star of the show here is really the Alpacas!

Olde LYFE Alpacas

My kids and I really enjoyed this place! We were welcomed by many friendly alpacas, llamas and dogs. The hosts were nice and accommodating, ensuring that we have everything we need at all times. Our whole family learned a lot about caring for these animals, so this mini thanksgiving vacation has been very educational too! We are definitely looking forward to returning for a summer visit! Thank you so much!!

A little bit of heaven

What a gorgeous valley these adorable alpacas live in. I arrived FAR later than I expected but Stacey took it in stride and all went well. I’d love to stay there again and for a longer time.
