Please note: We have two 'Overnighter' sites these are instant book for weary travelers and not meant as full on camping sites. Site 1 and site 2 or Antelope please refrain from booking unless you are traveling through - All other camp sites require a minimum of 24 hours notice this allows for getting the sites ready - so if you want to camp here please note this requirement If you are traveling w a bumper pull of any type you need to book Big Rig ( soon to be named Art Camp) this is our only pull through camp site all others only tiny teardrops, cassettes, tents, vans, cars, or cab overs. Bobcat is great for tents, cars, vans, small trucks, no bumper pulls Camping here is low activity experience as in there is hiking up in the National Forest or just hanging out in your camp site, or bring your camera, notebook and binoculars, or road bike. When you come to camp here you are on a farm in transition. Girlfarm has been a local food go to for restaurants, farm family members, and regenerative agriculture interests. Today, the farm is looking forward to a new course in agri tourism as we begin planning walking gardens, art installations in the landscape, and interactive classes. If you would like fresh veggies contact Prema Farm one day BEFORE arrival - Please come visit in April May and June it is some of the most green and lush times in the high desert. It can also bring snow, winds, and rain. Be prepared- look at the forecast and contact me directly if you have concerns SKEETERS are around we also recommend tents have a rain fly and ground cloth. Welcome It was important to choose a partner like Hipcamp to invite like minded individuals who respect both the natural environment and the idea of less is more. At any time you may encounter farming activities, building out of tiny houses, gardens in the process of creation, snakes, bugs, ticks, and wild animals. As we move toward offering the land as a place to both find solitude or chosen participation our Flyte and Sparrow experience will hopefully be a place you will want to return to as your own tradition.

Havens Ranch is a 154 acres in the Humboldt river valley just 10 minutes outside of Winnemucca, NV. We have a small outdoor wedding venue, and only rent our spaces when we are not hosting an event. You are welcome to utilize the grounds and facilities, which include a beautifully landscaped lawn, historic buildings and modern plumed bathrooms. We have incredible sunsets and a variety of wildlife living on the property. This is a great space to get away from the city for a weekend, or camp for a night on your way through town. We have both a guest suite and several camping spaces available. It's a large property and we love to share it! If you are looking for outdoor activities, we are just minutes away from the Winnemucca Dunes OHV area (also great for hiking!), Water Canyon rec site, the Bloody Shins mountain biking trail system, and about an hour away from the Paradise Valley rock climbing area. So peaceful and serene in this little mountain oasis! Hidden away within the mountains, there’s so much to see and do. Hike through the mountains and even down to Colorado River. Rent kayaks at the property to drive them down, a 7 min drive off the property. Book an off road tour around the mountains and down to the river. Check out the world famous ghost town a few minutes away and even goon an underground mine tour. It’s pure bliss and joy. A reset, a rest. Available as a single person camping, all the way up to weekend retreats for the entire family. This property is secluded and in a remote area with limited cell service. AT&T and Verizon have limited service, other carriers do not. This property is accessible by off road vehicle only, otherwise you may park your car in parking which is 4-7 minutes away from your tent by our shuttle. Off road vehicle means a 4x4 to drive over a rocky trail. To access your tent, you will be required to schedule the shuttle for check in. A host will drive out to meet you to take you to your tent. Must be scheduled in advance. Check in is between 3pm and 9pm only. The host does not live on property and travels for your scheduled check in time.

Owyhee, NV · 1 site · Tent, RV
TThank you for checking out Willow Retreat – Mountain City Camping, Fishing & Hunting Retreat! Welcome to one of northern Nevada's best-kept secrets. Willow Retreat is located just 16 miles south of the Idaho border in the quiet historic town of Mountain City, surrounded by thousands of acres of BLM land and the nearby Duck Valley Reservation. If you're looking to unplug, enjoy the outdoors, and experience true peace and quiet, you've found it. The property sits directly on the beautiful Owyhee River with nearly two acres of river frontage. Because this is open range country, a barbed-wire fence helps keep cattle off the property. If you choose to cross the fence to fish along the riverbank, please do so at your own risk and leave the fence exactly as you found it. Fishing here can be excellent! Rainbow trout are commonly caught right from the property, and nearby reservoirs offer even more opportunities for anglers. Bring your favorite bait—worms are always a great choice, and the locals even swear by bacon! Hunters love this area because it provides easy access to public land in both Nevada and Idaho. Depending on the season, you'll find opportunities for deer, elk, antelope, ducks, upland birds, and more. The surrounding roads and trails also make this a popular destination for ATV riders, off-road enthusiasts, photographers, bird watchers, and anyone who enjoys exploring wide-open country. Mountain City itself has a fascinating history. Once a thriving mining community during Nevada's copper and silver boom, many of the original buildings and mining remnants can still be seen today. Exploring the old town, abandoned structures, and nearby mining areas offers a unique glimpse into Nevada's past while providing endless opportunities for hiking and photography. One of the unique features of our property is the historic jail building located on-site. We're currently restoring this piece of local history and hope to offer it as a unique Airbnb stay in the future. Stay tuned! The campsite offers plenty of level ground for multiple RVs or campers, making it perfect for families or groups traveling together. For your convenience, we provide an electrical outlet, Wi-Fi, and a picnic table. While you'll have internet access at the campsite, cell service and Wi-Fi become very limited once you leave the immediate area, so plan accordingly. Just next door is the local bar, a favorite gathering place for residents and visitors alike. Don't let the simple exterior fool you—inside you'll find friendly people, cold drinks, and great food during the warmer months. If Rex is cooking, be sure to try the famous Rex Burger! Need groceries, fuel, or supplies? The Duck Valley Reservation, about 15 minutes north, has a grocery store, Ace Hardware, gas station, and health clinic. Elko is approximately 90 minutes away, while Boise is about a 2½-hour drive. Nearby fishing destinations include Wild Horse Reservoir, Sheep Creek Reservoir, Dry Creek Reservoir, Manning Reservoir, and many other hidden gems throughout the area. Most of all, Willow Retreat is a place to slow down, relax, and enjoy nature. Listen to the river, watch for wildlife, take in the incredible night skies, and experience the kind of quiet that's becoming harder to find. We hope you'll come make memories here and enjoy this little piece of Nevada as much as we do. Have a wonderful stay, travel safely, and we look forward to welcoming you back again!
