Our 130 acre property is currently an organic heirloom vegetable seed farm that is only 12 minutes from Ann Arbor. We've converted this former conventional agricultural land to a beautiful oasis of Certified Organic seed production and homesteading (see www.natureandnurtureseeds.com). The rolling land is 1/2 forest/wetlands and 1/2 fields, making it a biodiverse hot spot for plants, animals, and fungi. Nature abounds at Nature and Nurture Farm so come enjoy our private camping spots.

We spent a night at Michael's place for a video shooting project and it was great experience! Michael gave us a tour upon arrival and it was very informative. There is an electrical hookup on site and away from the house which gave us privacy. And the portapotty nearby was very clean. Michael was very responsive and helpful when we had questions later that day. Highly recommended anyone wanting to enjoy the nature while still having the convenience of electrical hookup.

We had a great stay on Michael's land which is beautiful and relaxing. Camping is secluded and quiet with the sound of wild grasses, flowers blowing in the wind and bird song. I look forward to staying again, Thankyou Michael

I'm so happy to have chosen this land to camp on! Quiet and tucked away but close enough to convenience and showers at the truck stop up the road, we came during the harvest festival and the band was great and jamming out 💜 Michael & Kiwi were wonderful, great atmosphere all around.. campers were nearby but very courteous and yearly regulars.. great views for pictures of the sunsets and a good deal of wildlife to watch... Daily walks around the land for exercise and grounding were comfortable and the land was well taken care of 😁 Not to mention I love supporting the cause of the farm 🥰 will definitely be back and will also be getting seeds for planting in spring 😁

Site 2 Nettle Camp

We loved camping at Nature and Nurture Farm! We spent a great and calm weekend around nature, we also had the opportunity to hike and since we’re training to run a marathon we had the opportunity to run around the property, the trail is well kept. We had the chance to see deer and beautiful and colorful sunset. We felt safe. Michael, Erica and Kiwi are very friendly. We definitely are coming back to camp again.

Site 1 Main Camp

We loved this camp ground. The setting is peaceful and beautiful. We had easy access to our car, and the site easily accommodated our two tents with plenty of space to spread out. There are several trails around the property and we enjoyed the wildlife- deer, butterflies, fireflies, toads, and the amusing Guinea fowl. Mike is an amazing host who was very communicative and met us when we arrived to help our group get settled. The farm dog Kiwi was there to greet us, too! We highly recommend this campsite if you are looking for a beautiful and quiet camp site with a great host.

This was our first Hip Camp experience and it won’t be our last. We needed a place to stay while visiting Ann Arbor, and Michael’s organic farm fit the bill. The property is convenient to UM and the nearby town of Dexter was a nice discovery. The host is helpful, the property scenic with woods and fields and plenty of birds. It’s worth touring the farm itself if you have time — and in the face of a thunderstorm Michael checked on us. We stayed dry but it was good to know we could use his barn just in case. Overall, highly recommended!!

This is a nice local place to grab a site year round. So far, I have only winter camped there, but want to see it when the leaves are on the trees. Michael is a fantastic host! While you're there, grab some of Michael's organic seeds. My daughter swears by them.

We stayed in the trailer spaces, and they were lovely. They had a nice view across a large field toward the setting sun. There are a number of trails to walk. Best of all, it is very close to Ann Arbor and two sets of friends we visited, as well as taking in the night life in downtown. Michael was warm and welcoming. Would definitely stay again.
