Should've Read The Reviews Closer
We were given multiple sets of directions, followed the ones the host DM'd us as closely as we could and still ended up a some random person's house. We called the host and she acted like we were idiots. Finally found the place and asked for a bathroom for our 6 year old. The bathroom clearly hadn't been cleaned in some time. Campsite was in the middle of a dirt area filled with poop, which is one thing, but the winds were so gusty (because Wyoming), we all had sore throats for a couple days from the poop dust blowing around and had to go into town for dinner. The animals were free to roam during the day- it was cute how they come to be cuddled- but they were also free to roam at night, which is resulted in multiple incidences of goats climbing underneath our teardrop and rattling their horns on the trailer frame, and mini-donkeys rubbing their heads on the trailer and shaking the whole thing. I had to get out of bed three seperate times to shoo animals away with a broomstick, the last being past midnight. This, after driving all day to get there and needing to drive the rest of the way to Yellowstone the next day. Chastened by the experience of having the opposite experience a 5 star rating would suggest, we won't be making the mistake of staying in places like this again.
