Situated in Sector B, just off an old logging road, Campsite B3 has recently undergone enhancements to provide ample space for several medium to larger tents and/or a 10x10 easy-up canopy. We've added a secluded large tent site within the deeper forest for those seeking extra privacy amidst nature's embrace. The site boasts several leveled tent areas, thoughtfully prepared for your comfort, including freshly roto-tilled and leveled tent "pads." At the heart of Campsite B3 is a splendid fire pit area, complete with a 3-foot fire ring and two rustic slabwood benches, set against the gorgeous backdrop of the surrounding ancient forest. It's the perfect spot for sharing stories and stargazing. The campsites in Sector B are deeply immersed in the dense forest canopy, offering an ideal setting for hanging hammocks and connecting with nature. A1 is a very popular and more private site and is spacious with forest all around.  The site is level and has several different forested "nooks" for tents.   This site is located in the first section of the camp closest to the waterfall and some wonderful rapids and river access points in front of one of the islands.   This campsite has several off shoot areas great for smaller to medium sized tents as well as a larger family sized tent.   All sites include a 3 foot metal fire ring and a slabwood bench. ** check in time is anytime from 12 noon on-ward.  Check out time is also before 12 noon. ** 3 sites in Sector B are more rugged, hilly, and private and accommodate smaller tents in flat areas or lots of hammocks!  5 sites in Sector C are more spacious level and closer to main beach and swim area.  And finally, 6 sites in Sector D are the most spacious but require a short walk from parking areas to access.  Great sites however and worth the very short hike into the forest along the short trail (couple of hundred feet max.). ** Our website has a link to a document which gives campground specs for all sites... number and type of tents that each site accommodates, ruggedness, size of site, closeness to porta-potty.... search Brooklyn Heights Riverfront Campground in Parsons WV and go to Camping for link. ** The camp is situated on nearly 4 miles of wilderness riverfront on a stunning dead end road, and yet just a few miles to the beautiful town of Parsons WV in Tucker County (home of Thomas / Davis / and Canaan Valley), with all shops, services and lots of restaurants so close by. ** The Dry Fork and Black Fork Rivers combine nearby, the cable suspension bridge to Hendricks is less than half a mile downstream, the Fernow Experimental Forest is just a mile downstream (following waterfall filled elklick run), and the Monongahela national forest and huge unlogged forests are all around! ** Waterfalls, creeks, kayak drop points, swimming, tubing, hiking, fishing, and water recreation abounds.

It's the perfect spot for sharing stories and stargazing. Introducing Our New Deluxe 12x32 Cabin at Brooklyn Heights Riverfront Campground with air conditioning and heat. Nestled in the serene forest of the D-sector, our new deluxe 12x32 cabin offers a perfect blend of comfort and nature. Designed to accommodate up to 6 guests in the cabin features 2 sets of bunk beds (4 twin beds) and a king-sized bed, making it ideal for families or groups of friends. Also room for a tent outside near the firepit. You will need to bring your own sheets, blankets, pillows, comforters and/or sleeping bags. Key Features: **Private and Secluded: Enjoy the privacy of a cabin tucked away in the woods, accessible via a private road with dedicated parking. **Comfortable Sleeping Arrangements: with a king-sized beds and 2 sets of bunk beds, everyone can sleep comfortably. **Full electricity with a 4 kilowatt heater, lighting, fans, and outlets to plug in your laptops, and for charging your phone. **Powerful fans and 4 windows to stay cool on warm nights. **6000 BTU window air-conditioner **A 7.5 cubic foot refrigerator with freezer **A large kitchen table and 6 chairs. We had such a truly wonderful time. The owner was so friendly and helpful, especially when we drove right past the campground! It's in very rugged territory with a narrow, winding road and we definitely had to have our wits about us when we were on our way there. The site we stayed at was clear, plenty big enough for us and our dogs, and really well shaded. The siet was quiet, peaceful, and had a really nice firepit where we spent most of our time. There was a cute coffee shed we were welcome to use, and I found the porta-potties to be well-maintained and clean (for the most part-- but then some fellow campers didn't treat it like a PUBLIC amenity and then it was a little gross). If I had one negative thing to say, it would be that I wish when the campground starts to fill out if they could hose the floors of the porta-potties down every day and wipe things down with a clorox wipe, because some people are not very thoughtful neighbors. But overall, we would absolutely camp here again.

It is our 3rd time camping at Brooklyn High River front camp site. So much fun, quiet and relaxing. RF3 is the best campsite can access the river water and feel like release. Vince is the best dude helping and friendly.

I can't say enough nice things about this camp! Vincent is so incredibly nice and the site was so peaceful. We went mid-week, so we had no neighbors. The porta-potties were clean, and the campsite was well maintained without taking away from the rustic feel of nature. The power went out for 2 hours or so due to inclement weather, so we drove into town and had a wonderful breakfast and coffee at Sunrise Coffee Company. Great deal on firewood, and it felt like someone was available all the time if help was needed. We fished and walked down to the foot bridge. We can't wait to come back!

RF2 - Group Riverfront Campsite
We camped at RF2 with 3 adults, 2 dogs, and a whole crew of kids. We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed this little campground. The river was running high when we arrived, and the campground manager came down to explain river safety and current conditions. He assured us he would monitor things closely and keep campers informed, which we really appreciated. By our second full day, the water had cleared enough for the kids to swim, and they barely got out of the river except when we heard thunder. They absolutely loved it. The only downside was that the entire site is sand, and it rained for at least 20 minutes every day. That meant wet sand on everything, which was tiresome for the adults. The kids, of course, didn’t seem to notice or care one bit. Ha Overall, it was a great experience, and we’d happily camp here again.

Incredible, family friendly campground. The river is perfect for fishing and also perfect for young children to play in. Gorgeous, serene location with minimal mosquitoes which was a shock! Firewood is very affordable. As in VERY affordable. Porta potty is the cleanest one I have ever used in my life. I plan to go back next year with my crew as my only mistake in booking a campsite at Brooklyn Heights was not staying a few days longer.

Very spaceous, very cute place can eat it the like soda/refreshment hut plus sodas and other drinks for like a dollar. Sweet land manager very nice experience. Across the road from water which you must check out if possible.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at brooklyn heights at rv2 spot. Vincent is a genuine all around great guy who really goes out of his way to make people comfortable along with that really friendly. I needed a ladder to get up on my campers roof and he let me barrow his. The place was real peaceful. The river is awesome and the kids loved it. Great nature experiences as well. Will definitely be returning in the future!

riverfront camping was perfect and peaceful. There were folks around but we had mostly our solitude. The water was clean so were the campsites 10 out of 10 would recommend.

RV10 - Riverfront Primitive RV Site
We absolutely loved our stay here. Our site-RV10 was on the edge of the campground which offered a good amount of privacy and space. We had easy access to the water front and could hear the tranquil rapids from our spot. The grounds were well kept and we really appreciated the cleanliness of the outhouses and the firewood and coffee set-up. This place was welcoming and super laid-back. Chill. Had riverfront view from campsite. Excellent access to Allegheny and Blackwater Canyon trails. Wish I brought my bike. Best maintained porta a potty I ever met.

Although my plans changed at the last minute (due to very wet weather while on a bicycle tour), and I didn’t end up staying, I will next time I’m on a tour in the area.
