We camped at RF2 with 3 adults, 2 dogs, and a whole crew of kids. We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed this little campground.
The river was running high when we arrived, and the campground manager came down to explain river safety and current conditions. He assured us he would monitor things closely and keep campers informed, which we really appreciated.
By our second full day, the water had cleared enough for the kids to swim, and they barely got out of the river except when we heard thunder. They absolutely loved it.
The only downside was that the entire site is sand, and it rained for at least 20 minutes every day. That meant wet sand on everything, which was tiresome for the adults. The kids, of course, didnât seem to notice or care one bit. Ha
Overall, it was a great experience, and weâd happily camp here again.
