The gazebo was just want we needed to stay out of the elements on our October trip. The fire place inside kept us warm all night and the property itself was beautiful. The camp host were very friendly and had a fire going for us when we arrived. Would definitely recommend.

Teresa's land is awesome! It's a great Basecamp for a lake Crescent or Olympic visit. Plenty of amenities for campers. This was our second time visiting this site and we'll be back again in the future

Thanks Teresa for the great campsite. This was well located for us for visiting the north side of Olympic NP and to head out to the coast. We appreciated the quietness of your place, the green grass, the ability to have a fire and the privacy. We highly recommend mile post 47!

Teresa is an absolutely amazing host! She had everything prepared and ready to go for our stay in her lovely gazebo. She was so welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy & comfortable. You’d be hard pressed to find a more gracious host and cozy accommodations, so much so that when our plans/route changed we ended up booking again with Teresa 2 nights later!

We loved car camping at Teresa’s spot right off highway 112. It was the perfect landing point for our weekend adventures. They greeted us when we arrived later than expected with a camp fire going at our spot and really made us feel at home. It was a wonderful experience and our first with Hipcamp. Will recommend to others!

Theresa and Don put a lot of love into their property and it shows. You feel it right away! The location is perfect for many destinations around the Peninsula. I camped in the gazebo area and it was lovely. It was a perfect spot to chill. The gazebo is a perfect spot to escape the weather, light a fire in the wood stove, do some reading, play some games with friends or light all the candles in the evening for a meditation space. There are many wonderful spaces, some open and some tucked in the woods for total privacy. They are continuing to create more special spaces, I can't wait to visit this property again and again!

We loved this site! They were large sites and quite private, we barely saw the other campers there. No bugs at all, and super quiet. Would definitely stay again!

We weren't sure what to expect from the hip camp app because everyone puts their best photos and descriptions on it. I can honestly say that we had the best experience with Theresa and Don, its quiet, peaceful and the wildlife came visiting the campsite. Don gave us great ideas for places to visit and it's a perfect camp base to have. We plan on going back in the fall. If you've forgotten something, the Joyce general store probably has it. The Cafe has delicious pie too.

Theresa's land was great! It was easy to drive to Lake Crescent for the day. The Porto's were kept clean and well stocked with hand sani. Our favorite part was hanging out at the gazebo and we are really happy we chose that site

The site is beautiful, quiet, well maintained and the host was wonderful! She gave us a tour of the grounds while explaining how they set things up and what their plans were. Great location as well and easy to find. The spots are quite large as well, you certainly don't feel like you're on top or near anyone else.

Very cute location. The gazebo was set up well and had running water. There were other campers, but all the sites are spread out so it felt private. Teresa was a great host and easy to communicate with. You are somewhat close to a state route, so we occasionally heard traffic, but the site is located in a little hollow, so we didn't see any and it didn't interfere with sleep or anything.

Great little campsite right off the road, we had gazebo spot, but plenty of space for a large tent. The weather was really warm so we ended up not using the enclosed gazebo and it's stove. It was an added bonus that gazebo had running water. Portable toilet was standard and clean. We used this site as a one night stay base for exploring Olympic NP.

What a lovely spot to camp outside of Olympic National Park! Accommodating, sweet hosts with great knowledge of the area! They greeted us upon arrival. Our site was up on the hill of the property, Porter John was nearby and spigot with hose water that they even brought closer to our spot. We had a lean-to to ourselves with a fire pit that they generously had stocked with wood for us. We were able to feel safe and at home for our stay; rinse some shirts, use the clothesline, space to stretch and cook and enjoy beautiful nights star gazing.

Lovely property, well taken care of by hosts. Little surprises like pre-cut firewood and kindling, tiki torch at the site felt special. There was some noise from the adjacent road but little traffic at night and ear plugs made it a non issue. Felt like our own private space.

Teresa and Don were lovely hosts and the location is perfect for exploring the Olympic Peninsula. Lyre Conservation area is just down the road and an absolute gem of a forest and beach. We stayed at the gazebo site, and as there were only two of us we just ended up laying our sleeping pads on the floor of the gazebo for the night. We were glad to have it as the weekend was wet and the wood stove was nice and toasty. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Theresa and Don were very welcoming and responsive! Our campsite was clean and spread out on their property with a private fire pit fully stocked with kindling and firewood. There was a port-a-potty close by and the property was beautiful. Would definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

This is such a sweet place and I don't think I could have been happier anywhere else. Lots of special little touches. Teresa and Don clearly love the land and are very gracious to share it with others. They're also just very nice people. I'm definitely coming back!

The Flatlands
5 STAR hosts would care about every detail and welcome you to their beautiful yard. The property is ideally located near Olympic National Park near the town of Joyce, minutes from Crescent Beach, a general store, restaurant, and the Spruce Railroad Trail head. The grounds are beautifully kept with lots of space and privacy options, a toilet, running water, and a gazebo for cooking in rainy weather. Definitely worth every penny and more. No dogs allowed due to the local cats. Looking forward to returning for another visit soon!
