This was an excellent place to camp for the night. I had traveled eight hours that day and so it was perfect to roll right up a nice driveway to reveal the campsite with an amazing view! My dog was beside himself with all the new scents and time playing fetch. I rolled out early AM for another long day behind the wheel on my way to Maine. Would definitely book there again based on my pleasant experience.

Amazing. Incredible view, without equal, easy access, nice clean and open spot, with serene meadow and nice fire rings at each camp. Potable water at base of hill, everything felt smooth and straightforward

We loved camping up there! Yes you can hear the highway, so if you are looking for complete peace and quiet this probably isn’t your spot. We didn’t mind it one bit and still felt out in nature. The views are stunning!!! The telephone tower is right at site 2 but there’s so much space we didn’t mind at all.
Excellent camping location. We utilized this spot during a busy time at Natural Chimney State Park. Very convenient drive and trip into town. Great view from the top.

The view is exactly what I was looking for. Beautiful farmland backed by layers of mountains. You’re so high up, you’re in the clouds in the morning. The 2 sites are a good distance from each other, but you may be able to see and hear the other site. An unexpected bonus was the farm market and nearby towns. (Coffee hound had amazing coffee and allowed dogs.) The gravel road is very drivable. Just go slow to navigate bumps. The ground was soft but firm for stakes Things to note: BUGS in the summer. Even though there is no water, they thrive in the grass. There is constant highway noise as listed. It was a consistent hum. Site 1 does not have shade until basically sunset. Choose site 2 if you need more shade. Jeff was kind in communications gave clear instructions after booking.

Overall slept fine but it was pretty loud, you hear trucks and the highway all night and there is a large phone tower that you sleep next to. I wouldn't stay again.

Easy booking, nice flat area with picnic table, hammock & darts. Great sunrise viewing, site #2 is right next to a cell tower if you care about that sort of thing (we didn’t) but otherwise a great stay. We are pulling a travel trailer with our pickup and had plenty of space to maneuver. Thanks for the stay Jeff!

We stayed here both the first and last nights of our trip and couldn't have picked a better waypoint. The site was private, peaceful, and beautiful, a wonderful place to unwind after a long day of driving. We will absolutely stay here again!

The view was amazing from up on the hill. We really enjoyed the privacy and it was nice to eat outside on the picnic table provided. My husband said it was THE place to have coffee in the morning!

What a hidden gem! The site was huge, level and well shaded majority of the day. The hammock is a perfect spot for enjoying the spectacular view. The dart board is a nice touch for some entertainment. Jeff was a perfect host. He was welcoming and offered some suggestions for local attractions. He made himself available for any problems (which we had none of) but was not all imposing. Highly recommended this camp spot!
Unobstructed views are breathtaking! Don't miss the sunrise photo opportunity. Nice and convenient to town too. We stayed on site 2. The highway noise behind in the distance did not keep up awake. Communication towers provide excellent service.

Lovely spot for a fall overnighter
Had a great time spending the night at this spot! We got there after dark but it was easy to find and woke up to a lovely view. Had a nice fire going in the evening and the picnic table, hammock, and dart board were great additions, though we only took advantage of the table due to our arrival after dark.
The host was considerate in leaving a rake so we could get leaves cleared and the place to our liking. We car camped but it would have been nice for tent camping as well. Highly recommend!

You’ll never be tired of this view!
2WD Accessible. I came up for a solo trip on a very cold day and enjoyed the best view of the mountains in the Shenandoah Valley. . Beautiful property! There is definitely cell phone signal 👍🏻. Had the place to myself. Perfect Solitude. Highly recommend. I will be back!
This is the best place! Great view of the mountains, has potable water and a fire pit. The host is super nice and responsive. Perfect camp spot. If you’re on the fence about the place, just book it.

Great spot!! Easy, communicative host. Amazing view. Top of a cleared steep hillside with one other distant site. Recommend 4 wheel drive if your towing. Nice spot to disconnect!! Thank You!! Would book again!!
