My husband and I camped there this weekend and had a really enjoyable time. The view was awesome, the weather was great and we will definitely go back.

Lovely spot for a fall overnighter
Had a great time spending the night at this spot! We got there after dark but it was easy to find and woke up to a lovely view. Had a nice fire going in the evening and the picnic table, hammock, and dart board were great additions, though we only took advantage of the table due to our arrival after dark.
The host was considerate in leaving a rake so we could get leaves cleared and the place to our liking. We car camped but it would have been nice for tent camping as well. Highly recommend!

You’ll never be tired of this view!
2WD Accessible. I came up for a solo trip on a very cold day and enjoyed the best view of the mountains in the Shenandoah Valley. . Beautiful property! There is definitely cell phone signal 👍🏻. Had the place to myself. Perfect Solitude. Highly recommend. I will be back!

This is the best place! Great view of the mountains, has potable water and a fire pit. The host is super nice and responsive. Perfect camp spot. If you’re on the fence about the place, just book it.

Great spot!! Easy, communicative host. Amazing view. Top of a cleared steep hillside with one other distant site. Recommend 4 wheel drive if your towing. Nice spot to disconnect!! Thank You!! Would book again!!

The view here is absolutely beautiful, and the setting on a cow farm is really unique! We loved watching the cows roam nearby—it made the experience feel special. Just a heads-up that they do walk through the field with the campsites, so there are a few piles of cow poop around.
The biggest issue for us was the noise. The campground sits right under two large cell towers and next to a major highway, and the traffic was constant all night. We ended up leaving a night early because it was so hard to sleep.
That said, it’s a great spot for off-leash dogs, and the sunrise and sunset views over the mountains are stunning. If highway noise doesn’t bother you, this could be a beautiful and convenient place to stay.

Site 2 is a heaven on earth!
Incredible 1 of a kind spot! 10/10 Recommend for the gorgeous view & privacy! Site 2 is my favorite on the whole property. So thankful we went! We will be back! The ride up has a few big bumps but nothing my truck couldn’t handle so check the listing details. The site includes a small rock fire pit, hammock big enough for 2, dart board (bring your own to have more than 1 dart) & picnic table. Some things to note for future campers: we couldn’t find a last minute portable toilet in our state so we stopped by a Cabela’s in VA and got one for $20. Firewood is for sale nearby which the owner will direct you to. Bring cash. I recommend $10 or more per day. Sometimes windy & you can hear the traffic given this special high location near a highway but it’s truly not bad at all with some light music or the crackle of a fire. We cooked with our cast iron over the fire & it was some of the best food we’ve ever had! The stars are stunning & you’re near a huge cell tower so have service. Within 5 minutes is a store that has everything you could need food, snack or beer/wine wise. Several gas stations tucked around too. We enjoyed seeing Harrisonburg especially for a Jack Brown’s burger! On our way out we went to the Blue Ridge Parkway & did the venture to see Dark Hollow Falls. It’s a stunning little waterfall & not too far from this site. Maybe an hour to 90 minute drive. Then a 2 hour walk. This area will make you reconnect with nature & simplicity in the best ways. Best sunrises too!

Beautiful view. Levels off pretty decently at the top of the hill, used a couple leveling blocks but not bad at all. Very private. Would book again.

Very relaxing peaceful space. Would recommend tires with good traction but beautiful view of the mtns and lots of lightning bugs. Our host checked in on us via text halfway through to make sure we were happy. Would highly recommend

Set on top of a hill it was very private and quiet. We even got to share our site with a few friendly cows who came to say hello in the morning. Jeff was a great host and was helpful with all the questions we had. We stayed only one night but would stay again when in the area.

My siblings and I always go on a camping trip every year and this year we chose to stay on Jeff’s farm in VA. It truly exceeded our expectations, from the incredible views and beautiful farmland to the easy access to Shenandoah National Park, it was simply amazing. We especially enjoyed Jeff’s cows being in the same paddock as us, they really added to the overall experience of staying on a farm! Jeff was quite communicative and was very accommodating, allowing me to park my low sitting car at the bottom of the hill which would’ve struggled on the gravely incline, as well as providing us with extra firewood/fatwood! I would recommend Jeff’s farm to everyone!!

We were at campsite #2 and stayed for several days, it was great - we were so happy we chose this spot! Beautiful view, very private campsite, spacious, well kept! There was plenty of room for our two tents, we could have easily set up another one with the space. The only thing to note is that the drive up the hill to the campsite was rough for my little Toyota Corolla, if you have a low sitting car you’re going to bottom out, but with some maneuvering and strategy we figured out how to go up and down without major impact & also limited our times coming and going from the site. Overall a great place to camp and close to many breweries, wineries, outdoor adventures, etc. highly recommend!

This was the absolute perfect spot to enjoy a fall weekend with my dogs and boyfriend. Site 1 was very secluded and had the best view!!! We also enjoyed a couple of wineries and breweries nearby. We visited the weekend of 1 November and the leaves were gorgeous!!!!

Our stay at Jeff's place was great! Beautiful view, and plenty of space. Our site was equipped with a hammock, firepit, and dartboard, which made for a comfortable and entertaining experience. Plus, the site is conveniently located near JMU. We strongly encourage you to book a stay at Jeff's place!!

My dog loves the place. Felt very private and the sunrise view from the campsite was gorgeous.
Tips: There are a few cool shops nearby, make sure you make time for them as well. Bring earplugs as the highway traffic can be fairly audible from the top overnight.

Fantastic camping spot. 10/10 would recommend. Incredible views, a clean fireplace, nicely manicured grass that made camping very comfortable. Jeff was friendly. We certainly hope to be back!

Beautiful sunrise over mountains
There is a huge Verizon tower in between site 1 & site 2 (which are passed the house /barn on the property) both sites are on the top looking word the east of Shenandoah mountains.
ETA 30 mins from the two south entrances of SNP
Beautiful sunrise, clean sites, wonderful property, host communicated. We didn’t need anything but he was available to help.
We brought proper arrangements for bathroom. Would be nice to have an outhouse shed specifically for a portable toilet.
We had a wonderful experience and hope to revisit! I recommend.

The site was up a somewhat steep dirt road, but did not have trouble with our 22 ft trailer. The view was astounding, looking over the valley. I just wish the thunderstorm that was predicted had happened, what a sight that would have been! Hoping to stay there on our way back north.
