Primitive Tent Site
The facilities at HTR Moab are incredible. A beautiful shower and cooking area. We could not stay because it is unfortunately right next to the freeway. They are very considerate and provide earplugs, but you would need earplugs and noise cancelling headphones. They were so accommodating though, and said if we go camp somewhere else, we could still use their facilities. The major problem is with HIPCAMP, who will not respond to my request for a refund, or let me talk to a human being regarding our refund. My advice is to book directly through HTR, and skip using HIPCAMP, which seems to be a platform run by robots.

The amenities like hot showers, bathrooms, and kitchen were great - accessible, clean, and comfortable. This camp may have been great for the cottages, but the primitive test sites were right on top of each other (probably only space for one) and super close to the cottages and outdoor campfire. It wasn’t private nor did it feel like camping.

This is a great safe place to stay on a cross-country road trip. I travel alone with my dog and always get nervous when booking campsites, but this place had everything we needed. As a heads up, if you’re someone who camps in their car, you can’t pull up directly to the tent site, it’s just a short walk from the parking though. It was nice to have our own designated picnic table in the morning for coffee and snacks before hitting the road again.

Lovely site right in the middle of Moab. Bathrooms were nice and clean, close to the sites. The club house was amazing! I would 1000% recommend!

Great central Moab location. RV site is full hook up. Although it is exposed to HWY 191 highway road noise the amenities more than make up for it. A very clean well equipped kitchen and outside grills and ultra clean bathroom with towels and all soaps and shampoos are all available including a pay laundry. The staff is more than friendly.

Really nice amenities and super welcoming staff. It was nice to hang out in the lounge talking to other guests and the showers and bathrooms were clean and easily accessible. I slept great!

This place is great UNLESS you’re tent camping. We actually ended up moving to a different campground for the rest of our stay. The amenities are awesome, grounds are super well maintained and nice but the tent campsites are really bad. Got maybe 2 hours of sleep because of being so close to the road (and we’re heavy sleepers!) this is even with ear plugs. The site itself is barely big enough for a tent, and each site is jammed in next to the other. We don’t expect a lot of shade in the desert but this had none. If you’re staying in a cabin or yurt I’m sure it’s a fabulous experience, and the staff is super nice! Hate to give a bad review because of this, but it’s just not a good tent camping spot.

Very clean and nice bathrooms, showers and kitchen area. This is in town and convenient but also comes with traffic noise. I would stay here again.

We loved the deluxe safari tent the bed was comfy clean close to bathroom shower the kitchen was clean and beautiful the barbecue area was nice and clean easy driving location close to tiwn

this was a perfect stay! even though you can hear some highway noise—it is peaceful and quiet! i stayed in a safari tent which was just right…it was meticulously clean. the bathrooms/showers were very clean and i never had to wait to take a shower

This was solid, nice facilities. Hot showers and spacious kitchen area. The primitive tent sites are very near the main highway, which is well trafficked and fairly loud. Light sleepers beware. Wasn’t an issue for us but something to consider.

An absolute gem of a place that instantly felt like home! The host was incredibly friendly and even talked about a list of trails for us to take our dirt bikes on—talk about VIP treatment! He was so chill, and even offered us the garage if we needed to tinker with our dirt bikes.
The commons area? Straight out of an interior design dream with stunning furniture, and the bathrooms were spotless—like, always clean! The showers? Pure bliss after a dusty, mud-splattered day of riding.
We stayed in a Safari tent, which was way roomier than we expected! The bed was comfy enough to make you forget you’re camping, and the deck was the perfect spot to sip coffee and soak in the morning sun. Bonus: we made a new furry friend—a cat who hung around the fence. It’s like we were in a nature documentary.
Now, the one hiccup: the temperature. The thin quilt on the bed was more of a suggestion than actual warmth, and the heater had a mind of its own. Hot air when it was sweltering outside, cold air when it was freezing at night. We brought extra blankets, so we survived, but let's just say we were very glad we did. Despite the weather being a bit of a diva, we loved everything else about this place and can’t wait to come back!

I decided to ask if I could change to a cabin/room because I had a miserable time the past 4 days in zion, bryce and capitol reef. Snow, wind and rain. Sean(?) was super helpful with it and super friendly and approachable. It’s such a relaxing place to stay and my decision not to tent camp was a good one. Bathhouses are extremely clean and private for the showers. Laundry room works and they have a scentless detergent which was clutch. Going home with clean clothes is a plus. The kitchen is also a super nice area to mingle amongst other campers or just do your work and relax! The rooms are spotless and beds were great! No notes. Didn’t know HTR was also in the Adirondacks, I’ll be there soon! 10/10 stay and service!

HTR was a wonderful stop. We stayed three nights and they were all great. Super close to Arches National Park and other sights. Sean was a very nice host giving us a printout with places to see. Lots of eating establishments around. HTR was clean and well managed. Will definitely recommend this for RV stay or cottage stay. Laundry available as well.
